People's Daily Bengbu, November 18 (Li Ximeng) Corning Medicinal Glass Factory mass production ceremony was held today in the production workshop of Kangning Medicinal Glass Co., Ltd. in Bengbu High-tech Zone, Anhui Province.

It is reported that the project was signed in May 2020, the planned land area of 91 acres, planning to build 2 new pharmaceutical glass production lines, design annual output of 20,000 tons of medicinal glass, after the project is fully produced, the annual output value is expected to reach 60 million US dollars.

Bengbu High-tech Zone is a national new industrialization (silicon-based new materials) industry demonstration base, and a strategic emerging industry cluster development base for silicon-based new materials in Anhui Province. At the same time, the silicon-based industry, as the focus of the Bengbu Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, focuses on building an industry, and the implementation of corning's medicinal glass project is in line with the development positioning of Bengbu City's leading industry, which is conducive to improving the industrial chain of silicon-based new materials in Bengbu City, filling the gap in the medicinal glass industry in Bengbu City, and further strengthening the development of the silicon-based industry in Bengbu City and even Anhui Province.
