Zhuge Liang's wooden cattle and horses and eight arrays could not be emulated by later generations, and the "Zhuge Crossbow" could be equipped with ten continuously firing crossbow arrows at the same time. Before he was a fledgling, he planned a grand plan for Liu Bei to divide the world into three parts.
Zhuge Liang often compares himself to Guan Zhongleyi, which shows the strength of his ability. Then, when Zhuge Liang was first born, Cao Cao and Sun Quan were both princes of the party, and Liu Bei was still under the fence, and there was still no foothold. Why would Zhuge Liang choose Liu Bei over the big platform of Cao Cao or Sun Quan?
In fact, the reason is very simple, since ancient times, there have been things clustered in groups, and people are divided into groups. Liu Bei studied under Lu Zhi and was a pure Confucian disciple, and Zhuge Liang was also a hardcore Confucian, so he would choose Liu Bei. Zhuge Liang's Confucianism can be seen from the Confucianism of the Tongue War Group.
Liu Bei was a generation of tyrants, starting from selling grass mats, first Taoyuan Sanjieyi, then zhao Yun, then met Xu Shu, and then asked Zhuge Liang to come out of the mountains, until he occupied Yizhou, he was able to divide the world and live in Yizhou.
Among Liu Bei's subordinates, Zhuge Liang was the most special one, and where was the special, except that Zhuge Liang had the talent of heaven and earth, he was also the only person Liu Bei had spent a lot of effort to clear out. Liu Bei met Guan Yu and Zhang Fei, Zhao Yun, and Xu Shu. Only he personally went to invite Zhuge Liang, and it was three Gu Maolu. Zhuge Liang is also open-minded and single-minded in his heart. Therefore, Zhuge Liang's idea liu bei is difficult to oppose.
After the three divisions of the world, Zhuge Liang single-mindedly pursued the Central Plains, crusaded against Cao Cao, and revived the Han Dynasty.
At this time, Liu Bei was half a life, old, and it was hard to have a place to live. Moreover, Liu Bei cherished his reputation all his life, and Yizhou used the means of insulting his reputation. After gaining Yizhou, his heart was weak, so he was very reluctant to attack the Central Plains. However, he could not refuse Zhuge Liang, so he had to use a trick to conceal the sky and cross the sea, to attack Eastern Wu and avenge his righteous brother Guan Yu as an excuse.
Why is it an excuse, let's analyze it from the following aspects.
First: Liu Bei's crusade against Eastern Wu was two years after Guan Yu's death, and the sadness will fade with time, so do you have to wait for the sadness to fade before taking revenge?
Second: Sun Quan was the prince who guarded the city, and there was no ambition except Jingzhou. However, Cao Cao had a crushing eye on Liu Bei, so Liu Bei's fierce enemy was Cao Cao instead of Sun Quan, and Zhuge Liang wanted to unite with Wu to resist Cao Cao, and Liu Bei knew it.
Third: Sun Shangxiang was still in Eastern Wu, and Liu Bei married relatives known to the world that he would not tear up his face until he was forced to do so.
If these three points are not enough to show that Liu Bei was forced to do so, then look at how Liu Bei fought Eastern Wu.
Both the history and the interpretation indicate that Liu Bei brought at least 100,000 troops. Compare how many troops Cao Cao brought to fight the Battle of Chibi when he was in full swing. Therefore, with so many troops brought out, Zhuge Liang basically did not have to consider the Northern Expedition.
Moreover, Liu Bei had fought all his life, how could he not understand the principle of heavy attack, and it was to fight in an enemy country. However, they camped and stayed still for more than half a year. It can be seen that Liu Bei's real intention was not to attack Eastern Wu, but to avoid the Northern Expedition to the Central Plains.
Liu You couldn't say anything bitterly, so he had to use this method, but he ran into a horseman who could only talk about soldiers on paper as a military master, and had to think that he was unlucky.
