In 2000, Park Chung-sook was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, which was aggravated by the fact that Park Jeong-sook was also diagnosed with infertility, which was a huge blow to any family. In order to provide a good place for his wife to recuperate, the Park Jeong-sook family gave up a stable life in the city, gave up everything they had, and settled in Chunheung Village, which has pleasant scenery and fresh air. Husband Huang Haolin took meticulous care of his wife, comforting her at all times and making her feel comfortable. Huang Haolin always changed the pattern every day, carefully boiled various nutritious soups and sent them to the hospital, and fed them to his wife bite by bite. Due to the high-intensity treatment, Park Jeong-sook's mouth was full of ulcers, and he could not open his mouth at all, so he had to use a straw to let his wife suck slowly. Under the careful care of her husband, Park Jeong-sook's condition has also improved greatly, cancer has basically been eliminated, and what is more gratifying is that Park Jeong-sook, who was diagnosed with infertility in 2002, gave birth to a baby girl, which brought laughter to the life of the originally lonely middle-aged couple.

During his wife's illness, in order to make her more optimistic to overcome the disease and reduce the pressure of life, Huang Haolin spent his free time studying wood carving. From small wooden crafts to large items such as furniture in the house, they were all made by Huang Haolin's hands. The house is designed in the Korean tradition, and every window, every door, and every pillar can be described as a valuable cultural heritage of the nation. Entering the house, in the middle is a small open-air hall, with various oil paintings painted on three walls, and the murals depict the early life customs of the Korean people in Yanbian, as if coming to the folk painting exhibition hall.

In 2021, it was awarded the "Most Beautiful Family" in China.
