The only noble concubine in the Qing Dynasty who had a courtesy name ruled the Kangxi harem for five years, but after her death, there was no peace

During the Qing Dynasty, empresses and imperial concubines generally had titles after their deaths, and concubines below the imperial concubines rarely obtained titles, but there were exceptions to everything, and some concubines who were particularly valued by the emperor also obtained titles after death.

In the harem of the Kangxi Dynasty, some people won at the starting line as soon as they were born, and it was obvious that Wen Shuguifei was such a person. Princess Wen was from the Yellow Banner Manchurian NiuhuLu clan, her grandfather was the founding father of the Qing Dynasty, Hongyi Gongyi, the father was the kangxi assistant chancellor Guo Yigong Bilong, and the older sister (half-mother) was the second empress of Kangxi, Empress Xiaozhao.

In fact, Concubine Wen entered the palace to make up for the vacancy of her sister Empress Xiaozhao.

Empress Xiaozhao was defeated by Empress Xiaocheng of the Hersheli clan in the battle for the throne, but Empress Xiaocheng died in childbirth while giving birth to Crown Princess Yin. As a result, Empress Xiaozhao became the second hostess of the Kangxi harem, but what was unexpected was that Empress Xiaozhao was also a person with a red face and a short life, who died in childbirth in the sixteenth year of Kangxi, so the glory of the Niuhulu clan in the Qing harem needed another woman to inherit, and this woman was Empress Xiaozhao's sister Wen Guifei, the sister of a mother of Empress Xiaozhao.

Both Princess Wen and Empress Xiaozhao were born to Shu Shujue Luoshi of the Shubilong side chamber, and her half-brother Faka (the third son of Shubilong) also inherited the title of Duke of the First Rank of Shubilong from her father. However, Faqa and his younger brother Alinga (the seventh son of Shubilon) have always been at odds, and the two even staged a farce at the funeral of Concubine Wen, which will be discussed later.

It is said that In the second year of Empress Xiaozhao's death, that is, in the seventeenth year of Kangxi, She was elected to the harem, and three years later, she was crowned as a noble concubine, becoming the second lord after the imperial concubine Tong (Empress Xiaoyi), which shows how much influence the family lineage should have on a person.

After Princess Wen entered the palace, Kangxi was very fond of this woman with a strong family background, and within three years he had two children with her, namely the tenth son of the emperor and the eleventh daughter of the emperor. However, these two births also caused serious losses to The Wen Concubine's body, which also became the root cause of her failure to live long.

In July of the 28th year of the Kangxi Dynasty, the third empress of Kangxi, Empress Xiaoyi, died of miscarriage, and the Kangxi Palace was once again vacant, but the loss of three wives in a row made Kangxi physically and mentally emaciated, and the idea of establishing another empress was dispelled. As a result, Wen Concubine Guifei ruled the harem of the Qing Dynasty as a noble concubine, and since Wen Concubine was not in good health at that time, there were Huifei and Rongfei who helped her to assist in the harem.

However, what is unexpected is that only five years later, that is, the thirty-third year of Kangxi, the news of the death of Concubine Wen's illness came out of the palace, and the departure of Concubine Wen was very sad for Kangxi, and Kangxi consulted the Ming Records and found that the Concubine of the Ming Dynasty had two or four characters, so he ordered the Cabinet and the Ministry of Etiquette to draw up a title for the noble concubine, that is, Wen Concubine.

But who knows, at the subsequent funeral of Concubine Wen, the Niu Hulu clan staged a farce.

It is said that Aling'a, the seventh son of Shubilong, has always been at odds with Faka, the third son of Shubilong, and Aling'a falsely accused Fakha of adultery with his sister-in-law at the funeral of Concubine Wen, and Kangxi attached great importance to this, so he sent someone to investigate in detail. After investigation, it was found that the incident was alinga's framing, so he ordered al ling'a to be punished, but alinga was later reused by Kangxi, and even snatched the duke of his father, Bilung, from faka.

Moreover, this Alinga was also the uncle of the fourth son of the Emperor, Yin Chan (Yongzheng) (Note: Lady Aling'a was the sister of Empress Xiaogongren), but became a key member of the Eight Masters' Party, and Yin Chan hated it to the bone. So much so that after Yongzheng succeeded to the throne, he carved the "Tomb of Alinga, Who Is Not a Subject, a Violent and Greedy Disciple", and executed Alson'a, the second son of Alinga.

Not to mention the only son of Wen Shugui's concubine, Emperor Ten Ziyin, who participated in the seizure of the Ninth Son and became a member of the Eight Ye Party in the late Kangxi Dynasty, although the Eight Ye Party became the loser of the Seizure, and both the Eighth Son, Yin Yu and the Ninth Son of the Emperor Yin Yu, were imprisoned to death, but Yongzheng only spared Yin. The reason for this is not really as described in the film and television drama, because Yin is a simple prince with a simple brain, in fact, the root cause lies in the huge power of the Yin mother's family, which is what Yongzheng is afraid of.

Postscript: After the death of Wen Qiguifei, she was buried in the Kangxi Jing mausoleum, however, what people did not expect was that later Wen Qianguifei's underground palace was stolen and excavated, but after the investigation of the public security organs, the case of illegal excavation of cultural relics was successfully cracked and the cultural relics were recovered.
