Takeshi Ruishan: Using the three-character method to cut the abdomen, it is worshipped by the Japanese to this day

author:Qingshi pen talk

There is an old Chinese saying: "The skin of the body, the parents who receive it, do not dare to destroy it, and the beginning of filial piety is also the beginning." There is also a sentence: "Stay in the green mountains without worrying about firewood." But this does not prevent Chinese from being brave and daring to sacrifice. If the Ancient Chinese wanted to be loyal, or three feet white, or wield a sword to kill themselves, try to save themselves a decent face, so that the enemy would also give them full respect.

The Japanese also advocate bravery, but the way is very strange, they think that cutting the abdomen is the best way to reflect their bravery and loyalty, if a person does not dare to cut the abdomen, it must be not enough determination or loyalty. You know, people will not die immediately after cutting their abdomen, and those who commit suicide will suffer great pain, resulting in a miserable death. Why are the Japanese so obsessed with the unseemly way of committing suicide by cutting their stomachs?

The Ancient Japanese believed that the human soul is perched in the abdomen, and their cutting of the abdomen is equivalent to what we say: "I will take out the heart to show you" this way of self-innocence, however, we will not really dig the heart, they are really belly.

I want you to see if my soul is clean, so cut your belly! Does it make sense to explain it this way...

Japan's belly cutting began in the Kamakura period, after the Sengoku and Edo periods has been the mainstream, for a samurai who made a mistake, it is already a great honor to be able to cut the abdomen instead of being beheaded, so some samurai often cut first after the mission fails, so that even if they fail, they can win the respect of others, so as not to go back to be cut off by the owner of the house, leaving a stink for thousands of years.

However, even with spiritual and customary support, cutting the abdomen still requires great courage. The abdomen of the human body is the gathering place of the nerve center, and the abdomen is not stabbed into it, but to cut the entire belly, which is the so-called "literal cutting". And after cutting people will not die immediately, but to go through a long and painful ordeal, so the abdomen cutter will generally find a trustworthy person to confess the mistake, the so-called intermediary is to help the abdomen cutter to end themselves, so as not to cut the abdomen of the hero to say something insulting, or and urine flow, after all, not everyone has such a strong self-control ability before dying.

Of course, on top of the "one word cut", there are also "ten character cuts" and even "three character cuts", which are horizontal one knife, vertical one knife, and horizontal cut three knives. The person who can complete the "ten character cut" is already a tough guy worshiped by the world, and the person who completes the "three character cut" is the only one in Japanese history, who has been worshiped by the Japanese for hundreds of years.

It is said that at the end of the Japanese shogunate, a movement of the King of TheOs broke out in the area of Kochi Prefecture, and the leader of this movement was called Takeshi Ruishan.

Born into a samurai family, Takeshi Ruishan has a strong personality, excels in martial arts, and also enjoys political activities. He propagated the idea of Honoring the King everywhere, which was recognized by many ministers and ministers, and had a great influence on Japanese society at that time.

In August 1863, the shogunate staged a sudden coup d'état, expelling the secretaries of the Kyoto Imperial Household and arresting the "royalists" led by Takeshi Mizuyama. The shogunate gave Him a severed abdomen on the grounds that Takeshi Ruishan had formed a party for personal gain, demagoguered people's hearts, and was a vassal.

In fact, Takeshi Ruishan already knew that he could not live, and after being arrested, he asked him to bring words to his wife, telling her that he would undoubtedly die, planning to prove his will with "three words to cut his abdomen", and let his wife bring him a new white shoulder jacket and underwear.

After the verdict was pronounced, Takeshi Ruishan was relieved, he was really worried that he would be sentenced to be beheaded, and now that he was fine, he had the opportunity to prove himself. At dusk, Takeshi Ruishan knelt on a straw mat in the middle of the courtyard, his chest and abdomen exposed, holding the handle of the knife in one hand and the blade wrapped in the fengshu paper in the other, holding the short knife upside down.

"Poof—" Blood splattered out, and the overseer and Sukemi widened their eyes, and blood splashed to their feet, but they never heard Takeshi Ruishan's wailing.

"Poof——, poof—" Two knives in a row, Takeshi Ruishan's face was miserable, and the blood flowed to the ground, but he clenched his teeth, endured the severe pain and slowly placed the short knife across his legs, and lowered his head.

The two sukes looked at each other and stabbed his body from the left and right sides, and Takeshi Ruishan snorted and quickly lost his breath, this year, he was 37 years old.

Takeshi-Mizuyama's movement actually contributed very little to the Meiji Restoration, but as the only person in Japanese history who successfully used the "three characters to cut the abdomen", he was very eye-catching in that period of history. Later generations of Japanese people also praised him for his "high purity" and called him "magnificent". A huge statue of him was erected in his hometown, and in the fourteenth year of Meiji, the tablet of Takeshi-Seosan was enshrined at the Jingguni Shrine. In the 24th year of Meiji, he was posthumously awarded the title of The First Emperor.

However, it is not easy for Wushi Ruishan to achieve "three characters cutting the abdomen", but this is not a kind of paranoia and fierceness. If you want to die, why not die?
