Su Zhen, the former head of Huawei's automatic driving, left his post

According to the data, Su Zhen joined Huawei from HiSilicon chips, led the development of Huawei's Da Vinci AI chip architecture, later served as the chief architect of Huawei Terminal Company, and later served as the director of the intelligent driving product department of Huawei's intelligent car solution BU. During his tenure as the director of Huawei's Intelligent Driving Products Department, Su Zhen was widely known in the industry for launching the ADS of the autonomous driving system solution. On the eve of the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, the Arctic Polar Fox Alpha S Huawei HI version model equipped with Huawei's ADS solution will realize urban autonomous driving capabilities with mass-produced software and hardware solutions.

However, Su Zhen was dismissed because Huawei's autonomous driving business was out of the circle and was also dismissed due to comments related to automatic driving. In July 2021, Huawei's latest personnel appointment and dismissal documents showed that Su Jing was dismissed from the position of director of the intelligent driving product department. It is worth mentioning that this appointment and dismissal document was signed by Ren Zhengfei, the founder of Huawei, and the reason for the appointment and dismissal was that Su Zhen made inappropriate remarks about Tesla when he participated in external activities to talk about autopilot technology and safety.
