Taking the low-altitude economy as an example, an efficient communication network is one of the core infrastructures for its development. The integrated synaesthesia function of 5G-A provides a new path for aircraft detection in low-altitude management, such as accurate tracking of low-altitude aircraft and electronic fence protection in key areas.

Specifically, the advantages of 5G-A technology include, but are not limited to, the following:

For example, Shenzhen Telecom and Huawei built the first integrated 5G-A base station in Futian, Shenzhen, on June 30 and opened it, which will carry out multi-scenario verification of the 5G-A stereo perception network in low-altitude environments, such as accurate tracking of drone trajectories and electronic fence protection in key areas, providing strong technical support for the development of Shenzhen's low-altitude economy. The base station can achieve target perception of 0.01 square meters, with a detection accuracy of up to 95%, and the sensing distance of a single station is more than one kilometer, and the perception accuracy will be further improved after the subsequent deployment of 5G-A continuous chips.

In addition, 5G-A is also expected to have a positive impact in other areas. For example, in terms of improving digital consumption, the improvement of network capabilities, the emergence of new terminals, and the supply of massive digital content will drive a new round of digital consumption upgrades.
