On April 12, according to the official news of Wuling Automobile, the first new Wuling Jiachen drove off the production line, which represented the official mass production of the car.
Jiachen is positioned in a 7-seat home MPV, which is the third silver-label Wuling model after Capgemin and Xingchen, equipped with a powertrain of 1.5T + CVT, and according to previous news, the car will be released for sale in the second quarter.
Different from the silver label Wuling's first model Capgemini, Jiachen front face uses a relatively novel design, the new car internal grille adopts a V-shaped scheme echoing the brand LOGO, which is quite fierce, and the light group is connected with the grille, effectively broadening the visual effect of the front face.
In order to meet the needs of different consumers, the car provides four body colors: warm white, warm gray, child's dream blue, and shimmer gold.
The new car is 4785/1820/1760mm in length, width and height, wheelbase is 2760mm, positioned in a 7-seat MPV, subject to cost constraints, the car does not use the same side sliding doors, but uses the more common hinged doors.
The official interior of the new car has also been released before, using a brown + black color scheme, and equipped with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, 10.25-inch suspension central control screen, enhancing the fashion and technology of the vehicle.
The main driver is equipped with six-way electric adjustment, the middle seat can be moved forward and backward by 120mm, the back seat can be adjusted to 150 degrees, and the rear seat can be reclined or folded forward by four or six points, so as to achieve a maximum volume of 1177L in the trunk, which can fully meet the needs of family cars.
It is worth mentioning that the Wuling Jiachen vehicle adopts a "theater stepped" seat layout, which can allow passengers in the third row to get a more comfortable sitting posture and a wider field of view.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 108 kilowatts, matching the CVT gearbox, and is expected to be available in a manual version to accommodate groups of lower-income families.
The price is unknown, but since its positioning is lower than Capgemini, it is speculated that the starting price of Jiachen may be around 70,000 yuan.
