Inventory of key audio and video technologies! A beginner's guide to entering the industry
Audio and video technology refers to the comprehensive technology of audio and video, including acquisition, preprocessing, encoding, decoding, rendering and display, file encapsulation/decapsulation, and network protocol packaging. There are four main encoding formats for audio: G7xx series, MP3, AAC, and Opus, of which G.729 is one of the most commonly used encoding formats. There are two main video encoding formats: RGB and YUV, and most of the current audio and video technologies use YUV mode for acquisition in order to obtain a larger compressible space.
