In March next year, it will be handed over to the relevant departments of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and then it will participate in the exhibition of calligraphy and paintings celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party in the Great Hall of the People.
Liu Weihua, 72 years old, a native of Nanpi County, Cangzhou City, is the executive director of the China Dadi Calligraphy and Painting Institute. He liked to read since childhood, loved painting, and was forced by his family's poverty, and dropped out of school to work as a farmer before graduating from junior high school. However, he used his spare time to visit famous artists in Beijing and Tianjin countless times, learn from the strengths of many families, and finally taught himself to become a talent, breaking through the national record of painting dragons, winning more than 30 awards in the national various calligraphy and painting exhibition competitions, and his deeds have been reported by the overseas edition of Hong Kong's "New Daily" and "Lookout" weekly, "China Education", "People's Political Consultative Conference Daily" and "Farmers Daily". In 2008, he painted a 100-meter-long scroll, and in 2008, the spirited dragons danced together, or were in the midst of the rolling wind and clouds, or playing in the wild waves. It means that the Olympic athletes fought hard in the 2008 Olympic Games and bravely won the championship. Liu Weihua is known as a master of dragon painting in today's painting world, and when Hong Kong and Macao returned to the motherland, he painted a huge "Chinese Dragon" and presented it to the SAR Government.
Liu Weihua, who has the titles of "Chinese Dragon King" and "the first person to paint the dragon in China", has been painstakingly working for 50 years, and his main works include "Hundred Days of Female Dance Music", "Hundred Jun Tengxiao Diagram", "Hundred Peng Bolang Diagram", "Hundred Tigers National Weitu", "Chinese Hundred Shuai Hundred Generals", "Xianglong Flying to Tiananmen", "Chinese Millennium Golden Dragon Map" and other long scrolls of Chinese paintings. The "Dragon" painting has been given as a gift to friendly people in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. He was cordially received by party and state leaders.
Today, Liu Weihua's masterpiece is 100 meters long and 1.2 meters wide, and it took three months to complete. The famous poet Han Zhongqing accompanied his painting with a poetry cloud:
