But the problem is that the United States has restricted Chinese garlic so that it can be self-sufficient, while India's agriculture is purely "watching the sky and eating", and the result of following the United States is to starve for nine meals in three days. According to the Times of India, in recent years, due to climate warming, India's self-produced garlic has been "unadaptable", resulting in a large-scale reduction in production, and the price of garlic in India has also risen. As a result, a large number of Indians began to climb the mountains to find the Chinese garlic that they had turned away.
Such boomerang has been increasing in recent years. Garlic in India is just one example, and rice in South Korea is another. China's things are so cheap, first, because China has a large land and abundant resources, and the climate is mild, so it is naturally suitable for agricultural production, and second, because China has long attached importance to the development of agricultural technology, and in recent years, the level of mechanization and industrialization has become higher and higher, which has reduced production costs. Neither of these two things, South Korea nor India, can do either. And these countries, not thinking about how to develop their own agricultural production, instead block Chinese products from the door, there is only one result, that is, their own people can only consume high-priced food that does not match their purchasing power. What if you can't afford it?
When India and South Korea and others erected trade barriers against China, they must have felt that they were very "smart" and found the wealth code that restricted China's development.
