Xpeng Motors officially announced that the first model of the MONA series will be named M03. The new car adopts a unique integrated front and rear light cluster design, and all models are equipped with intelligent cockpit and high-end intelligent driving system as standard. According to sales, the M03 is expected to be officially unveiled at the end of June, and the price range is expected to be between 100,000 yuan and 150,000 yuan. From the perspective of market positioning, the M03 will compete with the BYD Qin PLUS EV after its launch.
Spy photos show that the Xpeng M03 is equipped with an integrated headlight cluster and sporty surround similar to the Jiyue 07, and the iconic "X" logo of Xpeng Motors is used in the middle. The side design includes concealed electric door handles, a surround-view camera, B-pillar NFC sensing, low-drag wheels and a black reflector base. The rear also adopts a "T" shaped integrated light cluster, which echoes the headlights and enhances the vehicle's recognition.
In terms of interior, the Xpeng M03 is equipped with a double-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a floating central control screen, an AI intelligent cockpit, a face recognition device system, a dual cup holder and a pocket mechanism. The rear row is spacious and offers an optional HD entertainment screen. It is reported that the new car will be equipped with a single-motor rear-wheel drive system, paired with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, and is expected to have a pure electric range of about 550km.
