Recently, the first "Chinese Modernization Research Series Salon - Chinese Modernization in the Eyes of Ambassadors" jointly sponsored by the Institute of Chinese Modernization Development of Nankai University and CITIC Publishing Group was successfully held in Hai Bing Building of Nankai University.
Sun Chao, the author of "Chinese Modernization in the Eyes of Ambassadors", the chief planner of the interview with the "Belt and Road" ambassadors, the global young leader of Caixin, the senior consultant of brand communication of the Foreign Publishing Bureau, the senior consultant of international communication of China Finance Society, the special expert of Xinhua Silk Road, and the founding editor-in-chief of "China Economic Report", was invited as a sharing guest. Yang Kexin, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Nankai University, attended the event, and the responsible comrades of the Institute of Chinese Modernization Development, the Department of Humanities and Social Science Research, the School of Foreign Chinese, and the School of Economics of Nankai University, as well as representatives of teachers and students from various colleges in the university attended the event.
Yang Kexin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the University, pointed out in his speech that after the victory of the "20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China", Nankai acted quickly and established the Institute of Chinese-style Modernization Development of Nankai University with the strength of the whole school and other mainstream media have actively published theoretical articles, and these works and achievements have effectively demonstrated Nankai's wisdom, strength and contribution to Nankai in the great process of promoting Chinese-style modernization.
In the theme sharing session, Sun Chao shared the topic of "Chinese Modernization in the Eyes of Ambassadors of Various Countries", and she introduced that the "Belt and Road" Ambassador Interview Master Plan is the first bilingual in-depth interview and international cooperation project in Chinese and English around the "Belt and Road" initiative. She vividly shared the wonderful stories of interviews with foreign ambassadors to China, leaders of some countries and senior officials of international organizations in the process of compiling the book "Chinese Modernization in the Eyes of Ambassadors". She said that through face-to-face exchanges with ambassadors and dignitaries, the world can better understand China, better voice China, and make positive contributions to the building of a community with a shared future Chinese for mankind.
In the dialogue session, the moderator interviewed Xue Jun, professor of the Department of International Economics and Trade of the School of Economics and director of the Center for Global Economic Research, Wang Xiaochun, editor-in-chief of the Murphy branch of CITIC Publishing Group, and Sun Chao, author of "Chinese Modernization in the Eyes of Ambassadors". Based on their own research and work experience, the guests had wonderful exchanges on topics such as Chinese modernization and global sustainable development, and the international community's concern and interest in Chinese modernization.
