In order to further improve the safety awareness of employees, master basic fire safety knowledge, and improve fire prevention and self-protection capabilities, on the morning of June 19, 2024, Hongchang Gas Ladder Company invited the Fire Rescue Brigade of Ladder Management Area to give fire rescue safety knowledge lectures to the company's employees. The lecture was conducted in a combination of on-site lectures and emergency drills.
At the event site, the commanders and fighters of the Ladder Fire and Rescue Brigade explained the relevant knowledge of fire safety from the aspects of fire prevention, basic methods of fire extinguishing, common sense of fire fighting and fire emergency escape. Focusing on the "four capabilities" of enterprise fire safety management, fire safety, the judgment of fire types, the disposal of initial fires, and the inspection and use of common fire-fighting equipment, lectures and training were carried out. Through some real cases, the serious consequences of fire are demonstrated, so that everyone can understand the importance of fire safety more intuitively. This lecture was rich in content and practical, which not only allowed all employees of the company to have a deeper understanding of fire safety, improve fire safety awareness, but also mastered some practical fire response skills and methods.
After the lecture, the "Emergency Escape and Fire Rescue Comprehensive Emergency Plan Drill" was carried out. The drill simulated a fire caused by a short circuit in the distribution box downstairs of the company, igniting combustibles and producing thick smoke. After the "accident" occurred, Hongchang Gas Ladder Company immediately started the relevant emergency plan, organized information to report level by level, and each emergency rescue team immediately organized and carried out emergency escape, cordon, isolation belt, on-site personnel evacuation, initial fire reconnaissance and extinguishing subjects according to the division of responsibilities, until the fire was controlled. After the drill, the commanders and fighters of the Shangtian Ladder Fire and Rescue Brigade were invited to comment on the comprehensive emergency drill.
Through this lecture and drill, the mastery of fire protection knowledge and emergency response ability of all employees was strengthened, the ability of emergency rescue personnel to deal with fire dangers was improved, and the foundation for the safe operation of gas pipelines was laid a solid foundation. The company will adhere to the implementation of the safety production monthly drill plan, and constantly improve the company's emergency response capabilities to ensure the safe and stable operation of pipelines in the region.
