Fast Technology reported on June 25 that recently, China Automotive Digital Research Institute announced the complete list of car sales in May 2024, and it is reported that the sales of cars in May were 787,000, a year-on-year decrease of 7.7% and a month-on-month increase of 10.7%.

Looking at the top ten, BYD alone occupies half of the country, and 5 sedans were selected, they are Seagull, Qin PLUS DM-i, Destroyer 05, Qin PLUS EV and Han, corresponding to the first, second, fourth, sixth and eighth places respectively.

In terms of sales, the Seagull sold 32,700 units in a single month, becoming the first, the Qin PLUS DM-i sold 29,000 units, ranking second, the Destroyer 05 ranked fourth with 24,000 units, the Qin PLUS EV sold 18,000 units, ranking sixth, and the BYD Han sold 16,900 units in a single month, becoming the eighth.

In addition to BYD, another independent brand that entered the top 10 is Wuling Hongguang MINIEV, with 16,400 units per month, which also performed well.

As for the remaining four models, they are all joint venture brands, namely Nissan Sylphy (28,000 units, third place), SAIC Volkswagen Lavida (21,000 units, fifth place), FAW-Volkswagen Sutar (17,000 units, seventh place) and SAIC Volkswagen Passat (15,900 units, tenth place).

Among the models with monthly sales of more than 10,000, the following models are also included: Beijing Benz C-Class, Tesla Model 3, Wuling Binguo, FAW Audi A6L, BMW 3 Series, FAW-Volkswagen Magotan, GAC AION S, Zeekrypton 001, Changan Lumin, Beijing Benz E-Class, BYD Dolphin, Changan Mobile and Geely Xingrui.
