The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is an important consumer protection body that ensures consumer safety and interests by setting standards, inspecting products, and promoting recalls. Plays an important role in reducing the risk of injury to consumer products by issuing joint "recall" announcements with manufacturers and distributors when products are identified as potentially harmful or have caused safety or environmental concerns. Charger Network recently learned that a certain myCharge charger has a risk of fire and burns, and was required to be recalled by the CPSC.

The production date is a 4-digit number in WWYY format, where WW is the consecutive week of the year and YY is the last two digits of the year of manufacture. The date codes included in this recall end in 21 or 22, or one of the following four date codes ending in 23: 0123, 0923, 1523, or 1723.
