Preface
Gandhi, the father of the Indian nation, promoted India's independence and liberation.
But there is still a lot of controversy in the life creed he believes in.
These include his philosophy of "non-violent non-cooperation" and his ascetic advocacy.
In order to put into practice this philosophical idea, he even suggested that China should give up resistance to the Japanese; Not only that, but in order to prove his experiment, he bathed and slept with unclothed women for a long time.
So what kind of legendary life did Gandhi have?
Gandhi's revolutionary ideas
Gandhi, who has lived in a traditional Hindu family since he was a child, was already married at the age of 13 under the arrangement of his family.
But this did not shackle Gandhi, who was bent on studying in England.
At the age of 19, he went to London, England to study law, where he obtained a law degree and became a real lawyer.
However, when he returned to India, his road as a lawyer was very difficult.
If it weren't for the help of relatives, it is estimated that his career as a lawyer would have ended long ago, which also made Gandhi feel very frustrated.
In order to escape this life, he finally chose to live in South Africa.
But at that time, there was very serious racial discrimination in South Africa, and Gandhi, as a colored person, was naturally oppressed just like blacks.
It was precisely because of this that Gandhi began to realize the importance of India's independence, and the seeds that led to India's independence were planted deep in his heart.

In 1915, at the age of 46, he returned to India, where he changed the political landscape.
When he returned to India, he began to hype up his ideas in an attempt to lead India to independence, and he became the first person in India's history to advocate for the people's lives.
Before World War I, Gandhi had chosen to be loyal to the British, who had promised to return their autonomy after the war.
However, he never imagined that after the end of World War I, instead of keeping his promises, Britain's colonial rule over India would become even more intensified.
Gandhi's disappointment was greatly disappointed by the British's approach, and he realized that flattery would not change their status quo, and that India could become independent only through revolution.
For this reason, he remembered the conclusion of "non-violence" when he studied the Bible when he was studying in England, that is, when facing the perpetrator, he should not resist or resist, and so he shed blood and died until the perpetrator left satisfied.
In this way, Gandhi led a number of "non-violent non-cooperation" revolutionary movements throughout India for India's independence.
Since then, the whole of India has not resisted the cruelty of the British colonists, but at the same time there has been no cooperation with them.
However, Gandhi's first campaign ended violently.
Soon Gandhi launched a second non-cooperation campaign, in which the "Amritsar massacre" took place.
Despite the bloody sacrifice, the "non-violent non-cooperation" movement led by Gandhi never changed their desire to colonize, except for bringing certain problems to the colonizers.
What really frightened the British colonists was the wave of violent struggle in India from 1945 to early 1946, and finally the British colonists chose to evacuate India in a "friendly" way.
But Gandhi always believed that his "non-violent non-cooperation" was correct, so much so that when Chiang Kai-shek visited India, Gandhi suggested that China adopt this idea against Japan.

In 1942, when Japan's invasion caused China to be in a very critical moment, Chiang Kai-shek and his wife Soong Meiling visited India in the hope of gaining their support.
You must know that India was still in the colonial period at that time, so to meet Gandhi, you had to get British permission.
After some hard work, I finally met Gandhi.
Unexpectedly, Gandhi was always expounding the true meaning of the violent non-cooperation movement throughout the process, and hoped that China would be able to adopt the same non-violent non-cooperation approach as they did in the face of Japanese aggression.
However, Chiang Kai-shek did not approve of this.
Therefore, Chiang Kai-shek's meeting with Gandhi could only end up unhappily.
But the liberation and independence of India was finally resolved by violent means, and perhaps Gandhi's ideas could only be applied to the ideal state.
During Gandhi's life, in addition to the controversy surrounding his philosophical ideas, his ascetic ideas naturally became the talk of many people after dinner.
Gandhi's ascetic assertions
Gandhi, who has always been regarded as a national hero by Indians, has received little attention to his private life.
When Gandhi was 36 years old, he declared that India was going to start practicing abstinence, and he did many experiments on "desire" in this way.

This includes allowing men and women to be "honest" with each other, bathing and sleeping together, but never talking about all things about desire.
What is even more excessive is that he also proposes not to advise husbands and wives to be alone, and if there is an impulse between the two, they should immediately take a cold shower and wash their hearts.
But don't look at Gandhi being so demanding of the outside world, he has a different set of standards for himself.
Not only does he spend time alone with his secretary every day, but there are even many unknown intimate moments between the two.
Gandhi said that he closed his eyes when he bathed with his secretary, but only he knew what it was.
I thought this was ridiculous enough, but I never thought that in his twilight years, he even let his 18-year-old niece and grandnephew often sleep naked with him.
In the name of beauty, it is said to exercise his willpower, and he said that his belief in abstinence has always been very firm.
However, because Gandhi was so exalted in the hearts of Indians, he destroyed a lot of information that was unfavorable to him.
But if something has been done, how can there be no trace at all?
epilogue
Gandhi is also a legendary figure, who tried to change India through his own efforts when India was constantly oppressed by the colonizers.
Although there were many absurd or unreasonable claims in Gandhi's life, it is undeniable that he did promote the independence and liberation of India.
It is not an exaggeration for Indians to regard him as a national hero, so much so that he shocked all walks of life in India when he died.
However, Gandhi is only a person in the end, and there will be seven emotions and six desires, so in his later life, he may see more of the other side of his life.
