According to online information, about 100,000 secondary vocational school students in the province participated in this examination.
Compared with the 242,000 college entrance examination candidates in the province this year, the number is not small. However, the attention attracted by this exam is obviously not comparable to that of the high school entrance examination and the college entrance examination.
The answer is obvious. The level of colleges and universities that are the counterpart of the secondary vocational school examination is obviously low, and the undergraduate admission rate is low, which does not meet the high expectations of people in society.
According to the data, there are 14 Fujian vocational undergraduate colleges (including private undergraduates) that can be applied for every year (the data varies every year).
Last year, there were about 2,000 undergraduate students. The ceiling of vocational undergraduate students in our province is Minjiang University, Xiamen Institute of Technology, Fujian Vocational and Technical Normal College, etc.
This year, the "3+4" of secondary vocational undergraduates has been added, that is, 3 years of secondary vocational education, 4 years of undergraduate, and 7 years of cohesive training. It is equivalent to the upgraded version of the current "five-year college", and the first batch of 3 undergraduate colleges and universities will recruit 500 junior high school graduates in the province.
The colleges and universities where secondary vocational students can go to undergraduate studies are far from comparable to the colleges and universities that can be selected for the college entrance examination. It can be seen that the probability of secondary vocational students being admitted to the undergraduate program is very small. Of course, in the future, you will pass the college entrance examination to enter the undergraduate program.
There are 28 undergraduate colleges and universities (including private undergraduates) in Fujian that can be applied for. The proportion is related to the major, and some majors are as low as about 6% (the details can be found online).

4. Understand your child's personality and needs. If your child has a positive goal of going to school, try to consider going to high school. However, if there is a bias in the child's language, mathematics and English, it is better to choose a secondary vocational school.
