Why are the two table tennis associations disobedient? The main reason is that the core of world table tennis is in East Asia, and the ITTF cannot afford to offend these two table tennis associations. This is reflected in its own supplementary statement: whether an athlete is eligible to participate in the Olympic Games also depends on the exclusive authority of each National Olympic Committee.
