On June 20, in the conference room on the 14th floor of the outpatient clinic of Rongchang District People's Hospital, the academic conference on standardized treatment of epilepsy of the Chongqing Health Appropriate Technology Promotion Project was successfully held.
Jiang Li, Director of the Department of Neurology, Children's Hospital of Chongqing Medical University, Yan Yin, Director of the Epilepsy Rehabilitation Center of the Department of Neurology, Beibei Hospital Affiliated to Chongqing Medical University, and Wang Xiaoli, Head Nurse of the Department of Neurology of Chongqing Emergency Medical Center, were invited to make special reports. Medical staff from the Department of Pediatrics, Department of Neurology, and related departments of Rongchang District People's Hospital, as well as trainees and interns, as well as relevant professionals from other medical units, participated in the training to discuss the standardized treatment of epilepsy.
In the lecture, Jiang Li gave an in-depth explanation of epilepsy and epilepsy syndrome, epilepsy diagnosis ideas, and epilepsy treatment principles with the title of "Diagnosis and Treatment of Pediatric Epilepsy". Yan Yin gave a lecture on "Suicide in Epilepsy Patients" from multiple dimensions such as overview, epidemiological investigation, influencing factors of suicide in epilepsy patients, clinical diagnosis and treatment. From the perspective of medical care and humanistic care, Wang Xiaoli studied the "Nursing Expert Consensus on Status Epilepticus" with everyone. The training was rich in content, novel in perspective, and strong in academic atmosphere, reflecting the cutting-edge progress of epilepsy.
After the meeting, the participating experts evaluated the diagnosis and treatment level of epilepsy in Rongchang District People's Hospital, and pointed out the direction for the development of the department. The department will strengthen the construction of disciplines, continue to learn new knowledge and new technologies in the field of epilepsy treatment at home and abroad, actively establish district-level epilepsy treatment centers, push the diagnosis and treatment level of regional epilepsy diseases to a new height, and make due contributions to promoting the standardized treatment of epilepsy diseases.
