Civilization Jiaxiang
On June 25, Jiaxiang County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, together with the County Health Bureau and Jiaxiang Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, went to Jiaxiang County University for the Elderly to carry out a series of activities of "National Health Literacy Publicity Month".
At the event site, through lectures, distribution of promotional materials, etc., the students of the University for the Elderly brought "Xiangcheng" Hui "Old" health knowledge lectures, focusing on "three reductions and three health, healthy diet, mental health, scientific sports" and other contents, easy-to-understand language, so that health knowledge is more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. After the lecture, the professionals distributed more than 200 copies of publicity materials and small gifts such as the Chinese citizen health literacy manual and the hypertension prevention and treatment knowledge manual to the elderly present, and interacted with the elderly students in the form of interactive questions and answers, which not only enhanced the interest of the lecture, but also answered various questions of the students present.
Free clinics were also organized on the spot, and the staff checked the physical condition of the elderly students one-on-one and gave health guidance, advocating that everyone adhere to the balance of eating and moving, maintain a healthy weight, practice a healthy lifestyle, and establish a healthy concept.
By carrying out the first theme activity of the National Health Literacy Publicity Month, we will further strengthen the important role of health literacy in promoting national health and building a healthy China, encourage the general public to actively participate in the promotion of health literacy, guide the public to consciously practice a civilized, healthy, green and environmentally friendly lifestyle, and promote the whole population to pay more attention to health, maintain health and enjoy health. In the next step, the county CDC will continue to carry out various forms of health science popularization activities guided by the needs of the masses to further improve the health literacy of the people.
