June 26, 2024 is the 37th International Anti-Drug Day, in order to consolidate and expand the publicity effect of the "National Anti-drug Publicity Month", and further enhance the awareness of the people of the county, especially young people, to recognize, prevent and reject drugs, on the morning of June 26, the Jiangxian County Narcotics Control Committee held an anti-drug publicity activity with the theme of "preventing drug abuse among young people" in Qiaocun Agricultural Trade Square. Shi Hao, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and political commissar of the Public Security Bureau, Wu Zisheng, member of the Party committee and deputy director of the bureau, participated in the event, and more than 100 people from various member units of the County Narcotics Control Committee, police officers of the Public Security Bureau, and anti-drug social workers participated in the event.
The activity introduced the types, characteristics and harms of some new drugs to the masses in detail through hanging anti-drug banners, placing anti-drug exhibition boards, displaying simulated drug models, distributing publicity materials and anti-drug gifts, and playing anti-drug knowledge audio in a loop, and combined with real cases, to inform the masses, especially teenagers, of the confusion and harmfulness of camouflaged narcotic drugs, teach everyone how to identify and prevent drugs, popularize anti-drug laws and regulations, and encourage everyone to actively pay attention to the anti-drug public account and participate in the anti-drug struggle.
A total of more than 2,000 copies of various anti-drug publicity materials and more than 1,000 promotional gifts were distributed in this activity, and more than 1,300 people were educated. Through this propaganda activity, the knowledge of drug prevention has been popularized to the masses, the masses have realized the concealment and harmfulness of new drugs, improved the masses' awareness of drug awareness, drug rejection and drug prevention, disseminated the concept of drug control, and created a good social atmosphere for the whole people to participate in drug control and jointly build a line of defense against drugs.
