According to Hong Kong media reports, actor Louis Koo was recently appealed by Tang Caizhi to the Hong Kong High Court, seeking 8.3 million Hong Kong dollars from him. Louis Koo is alleged to have cooperated with Tong Tsai Chi in 2013 and 2014 to distribute fashion and catering businesses, during which time Koo borrowed HK$8.3 million from Tong for capital injection, but has not yet repaid the loan.

Mr Tong asked the court to order Louis Koo and Koo's company to hold half of the shares in trust for Tang, and to transfer the shares and account for them. The plaintiff in the case is Tang Caizhi, and the defendants are Louis Koo and Cool Label Limited, a company owned by Louis Koo. The plaintiff was a well-known film producer who invested in film and entertainment, and the respondent was an artist.
The appeal pointed out that in mid-2013, Louis Koo proposed to Tong to co-invest in Eyeteam Limited, a company that distributes the fashion brands "EVISU" and "A Bathing Ape", and Tang agreed, and Louis Koo held a 49% stake in Eyeteam through his wholly-owned Product Power Limited, with an investment amount of HK$16.6 million.
The appeal also pointed out that Louis Koo had indicated to Tang that he had not been able to make the first payment under the agreement and requested Tang's assistance, and Tang agreed, and lent Louis Koo an interest-free loan of HK$8.3 million in his personal name with a repayment period of 5 years, but Louis Koo had not repaid the loan since July 2018 and filed a lawsuit to recover the arrears from Louis Koo.
