In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, improve the volunteer service system in the new era, and carry forward the volunteer spirit of dedication, fraternity, mutual assistance and progress, Baoshan District has launched the "Baoshan District Volunteer Service Base Building Plan". The "Volunteer Service Base" aims to give full play to the advantages of the "linkage of five societies", guide multiple subjects to participate in various volunteer services, promote the construction of a social governance community where everyone is responsible, responsible and enjoyed, and jointly help the construction of the "four urban districts" in Baoshan.
Recently, under the guidance of the Social Work Department of the District Party Committee, the sharing meeting of the research camp of the Baoshan District Volunteer Service Base Building Plan was successfully held, and the relevant comrades of the Social Work Department of the District Party Committee, the person in charge of the district and town social organization service center, the secretary (person in charge) of the volunteer service base, the research partner, some representatives of social organizations, and representatives of experts participated in this sharing meeting.
This research camp sharing session shared the process of building the volunteer service base in Baoshan District, and reproduced how the research partners activated community volunteer resources and stimulated the vitality of community volunteers through self-governance and mutual assistance, with convenient services, "community little gentlemen" educational activities, participatory planning and other activities as the starting point. In order to commemorate the hard work of the research partners, a commemorative certificate was issued to the research partners who made special contributions in the process of building the volunteer service base and forming the toolkit.
Research partners from Wusong Street Social Organization Service Center, Meilan Lake Amber County Garden Neighborhood Committee of Luodian Town, Fudiyuan Yiju of Yanghang Town, and Baohong Home of Luojing Town shared their experiences and insights in the process of carrying out volunteer services in their respective bases.
Shanghai Xinxiang Community Public Welfare Service Center, Shanghai Baoshan District Pride Youth Emergency Rescue Service Center, Shanghai Baoshan District Gaojing Town Tomorrow Environmental Protection Service Center, and Shanghai Xingeng Workshop Public Service Center respectively shared how as professional social organizations can help volunteer bases carry out volunteer services in the process of building volunteer service bases.
Through the roundtable forum, Xu Huili, a virtuous person from Baohongjiayuan Township, Luojing Town, Xie Xinyuan, an expert in Amber County Garden Community in Luodian Town, Wang Meizhen, director of a bottle vegetable garden in Fudiyuan, Yanghang Town, and Wen Zhuoqing, an expert in Taihe Hongyu Community in Gaojing Town, respectively brought their stories and the community, and told them what opportunities made them embark on the road of volunteer service.
