Bugatti and Jacob & Co have teamed up to create a limited edition watch with design elements inspired by Bugatti's latest Tourbillion supercar. The name Bugatti Tourbillon sounds like a watch, and in 2020 Bugatti partnered with Jacob & Co to launch a Bugatti Chiron tourbillon watch, limited to 250 pieces, each equipped with a mini W16 engine, priced at $280,000.
Today, Jacob & Co has unveiled a new Bugatti Tourbillon watch that "reinterprets the excellence, intricacy and aesthetic appeal of Bugatti's new supercar". It has a black titanium case with a sapphire "engine block" and 16 titanium "pistons".
The real highlight of this watch is a 20-second animation showing the engine in action. In this age of smartwatches, it's like a moving work of art, and it feels very special.

The watch contains 557 parts and a 30-second two-speed tourbillon. In addition, it comes with a dual power reserve, a crown that mimics a car's control knob, and subdials that mimic a supercar's dashboard and tachometer.
According to Jacob & Co, the ten design elements of the watch are derived directly from the Bugatti car. In addition to the features mentioned above, Jacob & Co notes that the case is "in the same shape as a Bugatti car, with two side radiator vents on either side of the front grille. There are two large sapphire openings on the sides of the case, similar in shape and tone to the side windows of a car".
In September 2022, the two companies, Jacob & Co and Bugatti, began discussions about a tourbillon watch collaboration. Subsequently, Jacob & Co visited Bugatti's design studio the following year to gain a deeper understanding and discuss the design details. With the cooperation of the two companies, the design of this watch was finally completed after 18 months of hard work.

And the same goes for Bugatti, who always push everything to the limit. As a result, this Bugatti tourbillon watch is the most advanced and greatest achievement in their collaboration.
The production of this watch will be limited to 150 pieces to maintain its uniqueness and rarity. The watch is reportedly priced at $340,000.
