On the morning of June 27th, the "Seminar on the Implementation of International Understanding Education Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools in Guangzhou" sponsored by Guangzhou Institute of Education was held in the Affiliated Primary School of Guangzhou University. Nearly 300 people attended the event, including experts from Guangzhou Education Research Institute, Guangzhou High School Education Group, Guangzhou District Education Development Research Institute, as well as the heads of pilot schools and project personnel.

During the event, Zhang Jing, principal of the Affiliated Primary School of Guangzhou University, delivered a keynote speech on "Report on the Implementation Path of School-based Curriculum of International Understanding Education", showing the exploration path of the construction and implementation of the school-based curriculum of international understanding education in primary and secondary schools of the Affiliated Primary School of Guangzhou University, and sharing their practical experience in the integration of international understanding education disciplines. Ji Ting and Huang Jia, teachers of the Primary School Affiliated to Guangzhou University, respectively presented the special course "The World's Splendid Cultural Heritage" of international understanding education, and the miniature model United Nations conference "Fair Distribution of Artificial Intelligence Educational Resources" for the extracurricular theme practice activity course of international understanding education, presenting a high-quality classroom teaching demonstration of international understanding education.

Program performances

The activity believes that the international education understanding teaching classroom should be combined with national policies, pay attention to students' interests and development needs, carry out according to local conditions, innovate and expand the traditional education model, pay attention to the transmission and integration of multiculturalism in the curriculum design and implementation, and constantly iterate and optimize the international education model, so as to broaden students' horizons, enhance their understanding and respect for other cultures, and enhance students' ability of cross-cultural communication and cooperation in an all-round way.
