Teacher Jia Pingwa has a good relationship with Foping, and there have been rumors for many years that Teacher Jia once passed by Foping. It may be an early autumn in the mid-to-late 80s of the last century, when he rode from Hanzhong along National Highway 108 through Foping; In 2002, after the 6.9 catastrophic flood in Foping, Mr. Jia knew about the disaster and asked about the specific situation of the disaster in Foping as soon as possible. In 2010, Jia Lao came to Foping and inscribed "Foping is waiting for you to come", which has been retained in Foping County and used for tourism promotion in all aspects, which has a profound impact on the cultural tourism of Foping County.
On the afternoon of June 25th, Mr. Jia and his entourage held a ribbon-cutting and unveiling ceremony for the "Liuqing Book House" in Foping Old Street. At the exchange meeting, the participants watched the promotional video of "Cultural Buddha Ping". Jia Pingwa fondly recalled what he saw and felt when he passed by Foping many years ago, and was especially impressed by the Foping-style home-cooked food he tasted at that time, and was full of praise. He said that for many years, he has been listening to others about the changes in Foping and the feeling of coming to Foping, and he really wants to come and see it, but he has never had the opportunity. However, the connection with Foping has not been broken, through Foping writers, animal protection experts, etc., to understand the cultural customs and ecological resources of Foping, and pay attention to the development and changes of Foping. After coming this time, I feel that the white clouds in the sky are full of magical colors, and the Buddha Ping has changed a lot, and I feel very good, "Wherever the panda lives, it is a good place." This is the biggest feeling he feels every time he comes to Foping.
In two days, Mr. Jia and his entourage successively made in-depth inspections and interviews on Foping Old Street, Panda Valley, Qinling Giant Panda Foping Rescue and Breeding Research Base, Shangshawo Red Army Site, Hanjiwei Sanhekou Water Conservancy Project, Daheba Mo Shanghuakai Ecological Farm and Wangjiawan, Carpentry School, Foping Golden Palm Agriculture and Forestry Technology Development Co., Ltd., Huazhu, Shell Mountain B&B, etc., and felt the beautiful ecology of Foping, the new look of urban and rural areas, the development of cultural tourism and customs.
During the discussion at the Shell Mountain Residence, Feng Yongqing, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress (who had worked in Foping for 8 years and served as the county magistrate of the Foping County People's Government), Li Zhigang, secretary of the Foping County Party Committee, and Wang Qing, the county magistrate, expressed their expectations for the inscription for Foping, but Jia Lao readily agreed. Huang Wenqing proposed "pure Buddha Ping", although it summarized the purity, tranquility and ethereal nature of Buddha Ping, as well as the prompting effect of Foping's sweet spring water sent to Lingbei, but it was a bit too gentle, and not atmospheric and open enough. Teacher Jia said that Wang Guowei's character is "Jing'an", and Li Qingzhao's character is "Yi'an", which is not too suitable to be used. In order to open up the mind, someone asked about the process of Mr. Jia's inscription to his hometown Shangluo, "The most beautiful in Qinling is Shangluo", Mr. Jia said that he had been thinking about it for a long time, and finally got inspiration from "Guilin's landscape is the best in the world", "there is heaven and there is Suzhou and Hangzhou below", and that sentence was formed. Some leaders proposed "home in Foping", the language is peaceful, very cordial and catchy, but it is associated with Han Yu's "Where is the home of Yunheng Qinling?" The snow hugs the blue and the horse does not move forward", and I feel that it is not ideal in terms of artistic conception.
Teacher Jia took another sip of tea, smoked for a while, and said, "I'm in Foping." As soon as this sentence came out, the people present couldn't help but be shocked, their eyes lit up, and they all felt that the best sentence was found and said by Mr. Jia. Teacher Jia thought for a while and said, this word is a little indifferent, but the taste is thick, the taste is long, and the product is resistant, and it doesn't feel that it is deliberately designed, as if he is talking to himself casually from the bottom of his heart. Some leaders said that Foping's condensed language used for research and propaganda is "Xingzhi Qinling". Teacher Jia said, this is good, put them together, and the meaning is coherent. Everyone agreed, and they all breathed a sigh of relief, and found the words they wanted, which matched the intention they wanted to express, and they were easy to read and sound. Wang Qing County Magistrate said, Mr. Jia will write us a few words "Foping Old Street" again, Mr. Jia smiled and said, you are heavy! County Magistrate Wang Qing said that the opportunity should not be missed! Teacher Jia got up to write, he was over seventy years old, but his body was tough. Passing through the corridor, the courtyard dam, and the flower bed, to the study of the Shell Mountain Residence, laying paper, mixing ink, Mr. Jia seemed to be saying when he put down the pen, eight words, good is good, but the number of words is a bit much, or write four words. He wrote "I'm in Foping" and signed it; I wrote "Foping Old Street" again and paid off. Everyone present was smiling and full of deep respect and gratitude to Mr. Jia.
In literature, there are those who pay attention to style and those who pay attention to artistic conception. The former requires strict grammar, meticulous logic, precise wording, standardized genres, starting and turning, regular, and discerning: the latter requires artistic conception first, focusing on expression, forgetting the fish, and giving shape as you like...... The same is true for calligraphy and painting. Since Su Shi, Mi Fu advocates heart painting, the pen moves with the heart. Outside teachers create nature, get the source of the heart, and oppose the artistic concept that although there is a form, the artistic conception is dry and the taste is barren.
Mr. Jia's calligraphy has a unique charm, the sense of chaos, vastness, desolation, thickness, as well as introverted, calm, majestic, and simple, makes those overly elaborate calligraphy seem rigid, boring, and weak.
Why is the content of "I am in Foping" well drafted?
First, the word "I" in the sentence can have a rich sense of involvement. "I" can be a Foping person, or a visitor from other places to Foping; It can be the animals and plants of Foping, or the history and humanities of Foping; It can be the landscape of Foping, or it can be the folk food of Foping. How much this opens people's imaginations.
Second, the word "in" in the sentence can be understood as "being", or as "arrived", and of course, it can also be understood as "at ease". Because of the sense of language, the word "in" exudes a sense of pride, pride, happiness and a sense of dragging. There is also a voice: "I'm in Foping, where are you?" Don't hurry up and come to Foping! ”
Third, there is the philosophical implication of Descartes' "I think, therefore I am".
Fourth, it has the beauty of minimalist omission and blank space. Some people say, why not prepare "I am waiting for you in Foping", "I miss you in Foping", "I am watching pandas in Foping", "I enjoy happiness in Foping"...... If it is such a sentence, it will be too specific, it will not have the rich referential meaning of "I", and the ambiguity of "in" will disappear, it will be too full, too real, too instigating, and too cheesy.
Fifth, it is clear, transparent, and casual, and it sounds like a spring breeze to read. The text is most afraid of being difficult and ancient, difficult to read and difficult to understand. Zhu Ziqing said that when he read Du Fu's "sneaking into the night with the wind, moisturizing things silently", the friction between the lips and teeth was the smallest, and he felt that his mouth was full of fragrance, and he felt like this when he read "I am in Foping".
Sixth, and most importantly, it echoes with "Foping is waiting for you to come", in the same vein, and the more you think about it, the more you have a long charm.
Seventh, "I'm in Foping" is very much like a signature slogan, placed in the check-in place, the most cute and the most exciting.
