Shi Pingyuan's name is Shi Eryi, Shi Ping was born in 1911 in Dayao, Chuxiong, Yunnan, as early as the middle school period, Shi Ping and his classmates participated in the student movement, in the first half of 1931 Shi Ping studied at Jinling University in Nanjing, and was admitted to the Agricultural College of Zhejiang University in the autumn of that year.
During the 129th period of 1935, Shi Ping was the president of the student union of Zhejiang University and the chairman of the student federation of all secondary schools in Hangzhou, organizing the student movement, and Shi Ping, who was only 24 years old at the time, was elected as the chairman of the special committee of the executive committee of the All-China Federation of Students.
When the full-scale Anti-Japanese War broke out, Shi Ping was studying at the Nanjing Institute of Land Administration, and the war soon spread to Nanjing, Shi Ping put down his pen and joined the anti-Japanese team, engaged in anti-Japanese propaganda work, and published many anti-Japanese propaganda articles in newspapers and periodicals. From the winter of 1939 to the summer of 1941, Shi Ping served as the head of the Shanghai station of the International News Agency, and was engaged in propaganda and reporting behind enemy lines in Shanghai. In the autumn of 1941, Shi Ping entered the Soviet-Chinese base area of the New Fourth Army. It can be said that during the entire period of the Anti-Japanese War, Shi Ping fought on the front line of the anti-Japanese declaration of war! After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, Shi Ping has been working in East China, and during the Liberation War, Shi Ping served as the political commissar of the Nantong Guard Regiment and the head of the Democracy Movement Department of the Nine Prefectural Committees of Central China. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Shi Ping was mainly engaged in education, and served as the vice president of Beijing Agricultural University and the head of East China Normal University. Shi Yigong once published an article about the experience of his grandfather and grandmother, Shi Yigong's grandmother Yang Lin and grandfather Shi Ping were both enthusiastic young people, and they were also one of the organizers of the student movement in Hangzhou at that time. In 1935, Shi Yigong's father Shi Huailin was just 18 days old, and Shi Yigong's grandmother died in prison, which is why Shi Yigong's father's name comes from, and Shi Huailin was named to commemorate his mother Yang Lin. Because Shi Ping needs to run around for the anti-Japanese work, so Shi Huailin was fostered in a relative's house, more than ten years later, Shi Ping found his adult son after several inquiries, and when the father and son met again, Shi Huailin had grown up, and Shi Ping had reached middle age.
