On June 28, Dongkou County organized an emergency drill for health and epidemic prevention of the 2024 cluster pneumonia epidemic of unknown cause and flood disaster. A total of five teams from the County People's Hospital, the County Center for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Wenchang Street Community Health Service Center participated in the performance. More than 100 business backbones of the above-mentioned units, leaders in charge of emergency transmission and prevention of central health centers and neighborhood community health service centers in townships (management areas), and business backbones attended the scene to observe.
The drill was conducted in a combination of on-site Q&A and practical operations. Based on the background of a suspected case of "pneumonia of unknown cause" received by a people's hospital in a city and a county hit by continuous heavy rain, resulting in the collapse of multiple reservoirs and causing serious flooding disasters, the whole process of emergency response such as patient reception, reporting, flow adjustment, research and judgment, disposal, sampling, and sanitizing was carried out, and corresponding problems were raised for each link, and the person in charge of the corresponding professional group stated the disposal process and work points in combination with his own work responsibilities; Practical skills include putting on and taking off protective clothing, sample collection, disinfectant dispensing, and sanitizing epidemic sites. The whole exercise process was tense and orderly, and all links were handled smoothly.
