This effort eventually opened the door to the wider world – and he was admitted to Peking University, China's highest university. The moment he left his hometown and stepped into the capital, the prosperous scene of high-rise buildings and busy traffic deeply shocked this young man from the countryside, and also strengthened his determination to pursue a better life.
At Peking University, Dong Yuyu chose the literature and history majors he loved, and was hungry for knowledge. He actively participates in various academic discussions and practical activities to constantly expand his horizons and improve his abilities.
In order to ease the burden on his family, he also used his spare time to write part-time, which not only accumulated valuable experience for him, but also laid the foundation for his future career.
