But then again, what is the United States competing with China at this stage? Relying on Musk's "Starship" or Boeing's "Starliner", because if the United States wants to land on the moon, it must pre-develop a large rocket with a take-off mass of more than 1,000 tons, and judging from the progress of the United States, it seems that it is difficult to keep up with China's pace in a short time.
The question is, didn't the United States land on the moon 60 years ago, and why is it so difficult to even send astronauts to the space station now?
The reasons for speculation are as follows: 1. The United States does not attach importance to space exploration; 2. The United States underestimates the enemy and believes that no one will challenge itself; 3. Capital only focuses on immediate interests, and never considers the political and economic benefits of establishing a scientific research station on the moon.

The United States is so anti-China that it is difficult for China and the United States to cooperate

Either we will snatch millions of Chinese cultural relics in exchange, or lift punitive tariffs on thousands of Chinese goods, or exercise restraint on issues such as Taiwan, the South China Sea, and the Korean Peninsula.
The United States is like a giant ship with a leaky cabin, which is hot on the surface, but in fact it is a chicken feather in the mainland, and if it insists on launching a race with China to land on the moon, it will only be dragged out by China. Because the moon landing is a combination of science and technology, involving almost all industrial chains, it requires at least 10 years of long-term planning, but the United States has made only a handful of progress in this field.
Third, there really isn't much time left for the United States.
It is believed that when the Chinese astronauts land on the moon, many historical mysteries will be revealed, and it will be difficult for foreign countries to say nothing about what China says. After all, in a jungle society where the jungle is preyed upon by the weak, only the strong can distribute benefits and divide spheres of influence.
China has no intention of seeking hegemony, but it cannot stand up to its opponents' repeated firefights, and it is time for China to change its role.
The delivery of the lunar soil package by Chang'e-6 can also be recalled: the next 4-5 years will be crucial, who will win in the field of manned lunar landing in China and the United States, and who may have the ability to command the world.
