Weather conditions in the past ten days, many parts of the mainland have experienced significant precipitation and high temperatures.

In Jianghuai, Jiangnan and other regions, the rainfall is significantly higher than normal, especially in southern Anhui and southern Hubei, and the cumulative precipitation in some areas even exceeds 400 mm. At the same time, North China, northern Huanghuai and Guanzhong in Shaanxi Province have encountered persistent high temperatures, with local temperatures reaching more than 40°C. Specifically, the cumulative precipitation in Jianghan, Jianghuai, Jiangnan, western and southwestern China in the past 10 days is between 50 and 120 mm, and some areas such as southern Anhui and southern Hubei have reached 150 to 300 mm, or even more than 600 mm.

In the north, such as the southern Huanghuai region, the northeast region, and the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, the precipitation also remained at 30 to 70 mm, and some areas in the eastern part of Heilongjiang exceeded 100 mm. Compared with previous years, most of the above-mentioned areas received 3 to 8 percent more rainfall, and some even more than doubled. On the contrary, the precipitation in the central and southern parts of North China and the northern part of the Huanghuai River is significantly less.

In terms of temperature, in the past 10 days, North China, northern Huanghuai, Guanzhong in Shaanxi, central and eastern South China, and southeastern Jiangnan have seen high daily maximum temperatures exceeding 35°C for four to eight consecutive days, and some areas have even reached more than 40°C. This extreme weather pattern has had a significant impact on the local ecological environment, agricultural production and people's daily lives.

Especially in the heavy rainfall areas in the south, it is necessary to be vigilant against various secondary disasters that may be caused by heavy rainfall, such as flash floods, urban and rural waterlogging, etc.
