Application of K105 mold steel:

Powerful cutting (dies and punches), blanking dies and punching...... Woodworker...... Cutting ...... sheet material Thread Rolling Dies & Die Plates, Drawing Dies, Deep Drawing & Cold Extrusion Dies, Ceramics & ...... Industrial pressing molds, cold rolling rollers (work rollers) of compound rolling equipment, measuring instruments and gauges, small molds for the plastic industry with high wear resistance requirements.

Forging of K105 die steel:

Cool slowly at 1050 to 850°C in a furnace or in a heat-free material.

Application of K105 mold steel

Annealing of Austrian Bailu K105 mold steel:

Place it in the furnace at 800 to 850 °C, cool it to about 600 °C at a controlled rate of 10 to 20 °C/h, and then remove it for air cooling. Hardness after annealing: high 250HB.

K105模具钢材的应力消除:

Slow cooling at 650 to 700°C in a heat treatment furnace to eliminate internal stresses during machining or forming processes. After sufficient heating, place it in a neutral atmosphere and keep it warm for 1~2 hours.

Application of K105 mold steel

Hardening treatment of K105 mold steel:

980 to 1010 °C oil, salt bath (220 to 250 °C or 400 to 450 °C), forced air cooling or standing air cooling. Tools with complex shapes or sharp cutting angles should be hardened with air cooling or salt baths first. Keeping warm time after temperature equalization: 15 to 30 minutes. After hardening, the hardness can be reached: 64-66HRC.

Tempering of imported K105 mold steel:

After hardening, it is slowly heated to tempering temperature. FOR EVERY 20 MM INCREASE IN THE THICKNESS OF THE WORKPIECE, THE HOLDING TIME IN THE FURNACE NEEDS TO BE INCREASED BY 1 HOUR, BUT AT LEAST TWO HOURS, AND THEN SLOWLY AIR COOLED TO ROOM TEMPERATURE.
