Dyneema's booth was very large, showcasing a wide range of applications, including clothing, backpacks, running shoes, tents, moon chairs, and more.
Stronghorse material is composed of Stronghorse PE wire material, which is a UHMWPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene), tensile strength is very strong, it is the first successful production by DSM company in the Netherlands, registered as "Stronghorse (Dyneema)". The Honeywell company of the United States developed the second one, named "Spectra". China is the third country to succeed in the development.
Dyneema® fibers have extra-long molecular chains, which allows the load to be conducted more efficiently to the polymer backbone. This physical property allows Dyneema® fibers to have higher tensile strength for the same mass and lighter weight for the same tensile strength than other fibers. For the same mass, the tensile force of Dyneema® fiber is 15 times that of steel; Under the same mass, the tensile force is 40% higher than that of aramid; It can float on the surface of the water and effectively resist the erosion of moisture, ultraviolet light and chemical agents.
