A few days ago, the "· Children's Heart" summer camp for young non-genetic inheritors hosted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Changning District came to an end at the Changning District Intangible Cultural Heritage Center.
The summer camp lasted for 4 days, and carried out a variety of activities around the four themes of "Descendants of the Dragon", "Bogu Tongjin", "Art Collection" and "Encounter with Technology", attracting 26 Hong Kong, Taiwan, overseas Chinese and Chinese teenagers to participate. During the activity, the campers experienced a number of intangible cultural heritage items such as tea ordering, sachet making, shadow puppetry, Sichuan opera face changing, egg carving, bamboo folding fan, etc., and carried out Shanghainese learning and AI nursery rhyme creation experience.
In the egg carving experience project, under the guidance of Li Yafei, a municipal intangible cultural heritage inheritor, the campers learned how to carve exquisite patterns on eggshells and experienced the ingenuity spirit in traditional handicrafts. In addition, professional teachers from the China Folk Shadow Puppet Art Museum also introduced the history and production process of shadow puppetry, and everyone enjoyed the Sichuan opera face changing and shadow puppet performance, and felt the culture and history behind the ancient art.
In the AI Market, the children experienced 3D printing, AI chess, VR glasses, AI guitar and other projects, and observed how technology can be integrated into daily life in a vivid and interesting way, which stimulated the children's curiosity and imagination. At the closing ceremony, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the District and the Changning Culture and Art Center jointly awarded the camp certificates to the children, and the children showed their learning achievements in the summer camp through their performances, which received warm applause.
It is reported that the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the District and the District Intangible Cultural Heritage Center have cooperated to hold the "Tranquility · Childlike Heart" summer camp for young intangible cultural heritage inheritors for three consecutive years, enriching the summer life of Hong Kong, Taiwan, overseas Chinese and Chinese teenagers through a series of diverse and humanistic activities, helping them strengthen their cultural self-confidence and jointly participate in the protection and inheritance of national cultural intangible cultural heritage.
