"Journey to Turkey" (XVII)
**Sweet Time in Schillings**
On the seventeenth leg of our trip to Turkey, we embark on a journey through history. In the morning, we immersed ourselves in the ancient charm of the ruins of Hierapolis, and in the afternoon, we drove to the small town of Hierapolis, famous for its fruit wine.
Shirins, a place whose name suggests "good and sweet", is located in the province of Izmir in Turkey, clinging to the embrace of the Aegean Sea. The red tiles and white walls of the town seem to be an idyll, telling the style of ancient Greece.
It is known that the town has a long history, dating back to the sixth century AD, and was founded by Greece Christians. Although the town finally belonged to Turkey in 1923 after the baptism of war, it still retains the heritage of ancient Greece.
Here, I wander through the stone-paved alleys, with the echoes of history at every step and the freshness of nature with every breath. Here, I was seduced by the smell of wine all over the streets, and I was completely intoxicated by the rich fruity flavor.
I stopped, walked into a quaint little hotel, and used gestures to communicate with the owner, expressing my desire for a drink. The owner knew a little Chinese and kindly recommended several fruit wines for me. One of them conquered my taste buds with its unique flavor, so I couldn't help but ask for more until the drunken drunkenness gently rippled in my heart. At the checkout, I was pleasantly surprised by the price of 30 lira, which is only more than 6 yuan, which is really good value for money.
The town of Shilings, although commercialized, still maintains a quaint and authentic atmosphere. With a laid-back pace of life and friendly residents, visitors can experience the true Turkey countryside life and enjoy a peaceful time.
All in all, the town of Hilins is a place to linger with its rich history, stunning natural beauty, unique architecture, and rich cultural atmosphere. Here, every step is a mark of history, every sip is a sweet treat, and every breath is a pure experience. It's a paradise where you can relax and forget your worldly troubles.

Chillings' Drink
The red tiles and white walls reflect the ancient rhyme, and the wine in Shilings Town is mellow.
An idyllic dream on the shores of the Aegean Sea, with a long history and a peaceful heart.
The red tiles and white walls of the town seem to be an idyll.
The relics of ancient Greece are still well preserved here.
There is a traditional way of drinking wine here, which is to heat the wine on a sand table to drink.
This way of heating not only helps to enjoy the drink in cold weather, but also adds a sense of ritual to the drinking experience.
In the town's taverns, visitors can try this traditional way of drinking with heat, paired with local delicacies such as cheese, olives, and fresh bread.
Most of the shops in the town sell fruit wine.
