ubuntu16.04 install ROS

1 please use USTC source

sudo sh -c '. /etc/lsb-release && echo "deb http://mirrors.ustc.edu.cn/ros/ubuntu/ `lsb_release -cs` main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ros-latest.list'
           

2 Set up your keys

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver 'hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80' --recv-key C1CF6E31E6BADE8868B172B4F42ED6FBAB17C654
           

3 make sure your Debian package index is up-to-date

sudo apt-get update
           

4 Desktop-Full Install

sudo apt-get install ros-kinetic-desktop-full
           

5 add bashrc

echo "source /opt/ros/kinetic/setup.bash" >> ~/.bashrc
           

6 update bashrc

source ~/.bashrc
           

7 install this tool and other dependencies for building ROS packages

sudo apt install python-rosdep python-rosinstall python-rosinstall-generator python-wstool build-essential

sudo apt install python-rosdep

sudo rosdep init
rosdep update
