Focusing on the theme of "Social Aesthetic Education", this year, the Baoshan District Bureau of Culture and Tourism, Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University, Community Hub Station, Shanghai University Alumni Association, etc., joined hands to create a brand - "Baoshan Community Art Museum", integrating public space resources, and innovating to create a "small but beautiful" cultural space and service space in the form of micro-renovation and micro-renewal, implanting the seeds of art into the community and delivering the experience of the art museum to the doorstep.
Baoshan Community Art Museum Art Bridge is a space that is "both inside and outside", which is not only located in the Wisdom Bay Art Bridge Bookstore, but also invites the latest works created by artist Zhang Fangbai to share the language of painting with residents in the opening exhibition. Wang Nanming, the founder of the community hub station and the curator of this exhibition, introduced that although the exhibition covers an area of only about 50 square meters, it boldly tries to disassemble the large exhibition of a large professional art museum into a small exhibition, and walks out of the large building to deliver the works to the door of the community, so that "the community of art museums and community art museums" will become a reality in Baoshan, so as to better lead the "rooting and growth" of aesthetic education in the community in the future.
The Baoshan Community Art Museum at the north entrance of the Baoshan Campus of Shanghai University is combined with the small space of the commercial coffee shop to create an innovative platform for the display of teachers and students of colleges and universities. The opening exhibition is not only a display of the new works of teachers and students of the Jewelry Metalworking Studio of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, but also an artistic epitome of the studio's development history since its establishment 20 years ago. The exhibition not only showcases the beauty and craftsmanship of the jewelry works themselves, but also reflects the integration of art and community life, and constantly stimulates the public's awareness and pursuit of beauty.
It is understood that in addition to the "Art Bridge" and "Estuary", the first batch of points to be launched will also include the "Park" in Qilian Park in Dachang Town and the "Temple Xingxing" in the Community Cultural Center Square of Miaohang Town, which are currently under active preparation. The relevant person in charge said that the Baoshan Community Art Museum is a new attempt and creation of Baoshan Cultural Tourism in the process of improving the modernization level of grassroots social governance, and will witness the close connection between art and community life.
