As the saying goes, people rely on clothes and horses rely on saddles, and the quality of a product grade can sometimes be seen from the appearance.
First of all, look at this rice cooker, which is divided into three layers, the upper cover, the middle ring and the base, and you can see a slight color difference on the outside, that is, the color of the upper cover is slightly darker than this base, and the red is slightly darker.
Looking further down, there is a gap between the upper cover and the middle ring, this gap should be nearly two millimeters, but the reason for this gap is not caused by injection molding, but by the hook design inside.
Further down, you can see that there is a little problem with the fit between this ring and the base, you can see that there is a little flash seam on the right, and the middle ring on the upper left is a little protruding outward, and we also know that it is the base under the upper ring buckle.
Here is a little introduction to these two products, it is a combination of two steps upside down buckle together, that is to say, the top is thicker, the bottom is relatively thin, such a step, it can be seen that for the upper ring and the lower base of the fit, the upper ring is thinner, this buckle buckle buckles the thinner base below.
For example, the top one is on the outside, and the bottom one is on the inside, so it will cause the left side of the middle ring to protrude slightly, which is a roundness problem, which is related to injection molding, and here on the right we can see that it has a flash seam, which is a flatness problem.
But this problem is more complicated, it may also be a flatness problem caused by production, or it may be because of the deformation of the left side that causes the right side to produce this gap problem, this should be a specific problem for specific analysis, this circumference and base it with this circle whether the flash seam, which is a great test of the manufacturer's development level and production level, high-end rice cooker products can not make this kind of low-level mistake.
In the next question, if we look closely to the right, we can see that the edge of the central ring has shrunk slightly.
So what is the reason?
We just said that the lower side of this middle ring is a thinner side and the top is a thicker side, this step from thin to thick, easy to produce this kind of shrinkage, of course, through the adjustment of the process and product design, you can also adjust this shrinkage to no.
Now we look at the handle of the rice cooker, and here we can see that there is an obvious bonding line, which is not allowed for high-end products.
Solve the problem in these aspects:
One: color difference, which is completely related to the production process, of course, it is also a little related to procurement.
2: The gap between the end cap and the middle ring has a relationship with the product design, especially the design of the buckle, and has little to do with injection molding.
Third: the cooperation between the ring and the base is related to the mold design and production.
Fourth: the combination line of the handle has a relationship with the mold and the production process, of course, it should have a greater relationship with the mold.
The shell of the rice cooker product seems to be very simple, but it is not easy to make it, because it is made of PP material, and the shrinkage of PP material is very large, and it will have a very large shrinkage two or three days after production.
Therefore, in production, we must ensure that first-in-first-out, together with production and assembly, and finally to ensure that the detection in production is not only to measure the size, because the measurement of the size is measured with calipers, it is not accurate, and the inspection tool must be used, do you understand?
