Precautions for veterinary medicine self-examination undergraduate application for 2024 licensed veterinarian exam content?
In accordance with the "Animal Epidemic Prevention Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant provisions, the relevant matters of the 2024 National Veterinary Qualification Examination are hereby announced as follows.
1. Examination categories: veterinary general practice, aquatic animals.
II. Application Requirements
(1) Persons with a college degree or above or full-time college students, whose majors meet the requirements of the veterinary general practice application professional catalogue (Annex 1), can register for the veterinary general examination.
(2) Persons with a college degree or above or full-time college students who meet the requirements of the Catalogue of Aquatic Animal Majors (Annex 2) can register for the Aquatic Animal Examination.
(3) Before January 1, 2009, those with professional and technical titles of veterinarian or above can register for the veterinary general examination.
(4) Rural veterinarians who have been registered or registered before 2014 (including 2014) and have been engaged in animal diagnosis and treatment activities for more than 10 years may register for the veterinary general practice or aquatic animal examination.
3. How and when to apply for the examination
The National Veterinary Qualification Examination is divided into 4 subjects: basic, preventive, clinical and comprehensive application, and candidates can choose to apply for all 4 subjects or some of them. Online registration and online confirmation will be adopted. Candidates should use the computer to log in to the "China Veterinary Network (www.cadc.net.cn) - Practicing Veterinary Column - National Veterinary Qualification Examination" for online registration, online confirmation, examination payment, admission ticket printing, score inquiry and other examination-related operations.
(1) Online registration
The online registration period is from January 22 to February 2, 2024. Candidates should carefully read the "2024 National Veterinary Qualification Examination Candidate Guidance Manual" to obtain the detailed operation process. Applicants should fill in the registration information truthfully and accurately, confirm that the major they study meets the application requirements, and make a commitment to the authenticity of the information. Those who fail to register and confirm within the time limit will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their qualifications to apply for the examination.
1. Those who apply for the examination with academic qualifications
Applicants should log in to the China Higher Education Student Information Network (hereinafter referred to as the "Academic Information Network") to inquire about their academic qualifications before registration.
(1) For those whose academic information can be queried on the academic information network, only the graduation certificate (graduation certificate) number needs to be filled in when registering. If the information on the student information network is inconsistent with my graduation certificate (graduation certificate), I should contact the student status and academic management department of the graduate school to correct it in time before the registration deadline.
(2) For those whose academic information cannot be queried on the academic information network, they should fill in the relevant information consistent with the graduation certificate (graduation certificate) when registering, and upload the electronic photo of the original valid identity document. At the same time, the "China Higher Education Qualification Authentication Report" obtained through the academic certification of the academic information network should also be uploaded, and the uploaded certification report should be an electronic photo of the original or an electronic version of the certification report.
(3) For those who have obtained foreign academic qualifications, fill in the information of the graduate institution when registering, and upload the academic degree certification issued by the Service Center for Scholarly Study of the Ministry of Education, which should be an electronic photo or electronic version of the original certificate.
2. Full-time college students
Candidates should use the computer to log in to the "Student Information File" column of the Student Information Network, download the PDF file of their "Online Verification Report of Student Status of the Ministry of Education", and upload it to the examination registration system. File formats such as computer screenshots, mobile phone photos, mobile phone screenshots, and image to PDF are not recognized. Student status reports or certificates obtained through channels other than the academic information network will not be recognized.
Undergraduate students (graduate students) who already have a junior college or undergraduate degree that meets the requirements of the major they apply for should give preference to "applying for the examination with their academic qualifications".
3. Those who apply for the examination with their professional titles
When filling in the information, candidates must select the professional and technical title level and the time when the title is obtained that are consistent with the title certificate, and upload the electronic photos of all the original pages of the title certificate at the same time.
4. Rural veterinarian
When registering, the system will check whether the applicant has filed or registered in the national veterinary team information management system, and whether the filing or registration period meets the application requirements according to the valid ID number. If the result of the system query is that the application has not been filed or registered, or the filing or registration period does not meet the application requirements, the registration will be deemed to have failed.
(2) Online confirmation
Candidates can check the online pre-screening results after April 15. Those who fail to pass the pre-examination can re-upload relevant supporting materials according to the prompts from April 15 to 17.
Fourth, the examination payment standards and methods
Candidates can check the audit results after May 6, and those who pass the audit can pay for the exam. The test fee standard and the specific payment time and method shall be released by each test area. Those who fail to pay the fee within the time limit will be deemed to have voluntarily given up their qualifications for the examination.
5. Printing of the admission ticket Candidates can print the admission ticket by themselves from July 8 to 14.
6. Examination time and method The examination time is July 14.
The examination method is closed-book and computer-based examination. The test questions, answer requirements and answer interface are displayed on the computer display screen, and candidates should use the computer mouse to answer directly on the computer answer interface. After January 22, the online information platform of the National Veterinary Qualification Examination will release the computer test operation software and demonstration video, and candidates can understand and familiarize themselves with the computer test answer interface and answering methods in advance.
7. Examination content
The scope of the examination is subject to the "National Veterinary Qualification Examination Syllabus (Veterinary General Medicine) (2023 Edition)" and "National Veterinary Qualification Examination Syllabus (Aquatic Animals) (2023 Edition)". There are 100 questions in each subject, and each question is worth 1 point.
(1) General veterinary examination
Foundation Subjects. Including veterinary laws and regulations and professional ethics, animal anatomy, histology and embryology, animal physiology, animal biochemistry, animal pathology, veterinary pharmacology.
Prevention subjects. Includes Veterinary Microbiology & Immunology, Veterinary Infectious Diseases, Veterinary Parasitology, and Veterinary Public Health.
Clinical subjects. Including Veterinary Clinical Diagnostics, Veterinary Internal Medicine, Veterinary Surgery and Surgery, Veterinary Obstetrics, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
Comprehensive Applied Subjects. It includes the clinical diagnosis and treatment of diseases of pigs, poultry, cattle, sheep, dogs, cats, and other animals.
(2) Examination of aquatic animals
Foundation Subjects. These include veterinary laws and regulations and professional ethics, aquatic animal anatomy, histology and embryology, aquatic animal physiology, animal biochemistry, and fish pharmacology.
Prevention subjects. Including Aquatic Animal Immunology, Aquatic Animal Microbiology, Aquatic Animal Parasitology, Aquatic Public Health.
Clinical subjects. Including Aquatic Pharmacology, Aquatic Animal Pathology, Aquatic Animal Diseases.
Comprehensive Applied Subjects. Including Feed and Nutrition, Aquaculture Water Environment Ecology, Aquaculture.
8. Recognition of passing the examination
For those who apply for some subjects, 60 points will be the passing score of a single subject, and the passing score of a single subject will be valid for 3 years. Those who pass all subjects in 3 consecutive years will be deemed to have passed the examination. If you apply for all 4 subjects at one time, the total score of the examination will be announced by the National Veterinary Qualification Examination Committee after the examination. If the total score of 4 subjects does not reach the total score of the examination, but the score of a single subject reaches 60, it will be deemed that the score of a single subject is passed. The passing results of a single subject will be retained and will be valid for 3 years.
9. Application and Grant of Qualifications
Those who have passed the national veterinary qualification examination shall submit an application for the granting of veterinary qualification within the specified time in accordance with the requirements of the announcement of each examination area. After passing the examination, the agricultural and rural departments of the provincial people's governments where the examination is located shall issue a veterinary qualification certificate. Full-time college students who have passed the examination should obtain a college degree or above in a veterinary-related major (which can be queried on the academic information network), and can apply for the qualification of practicing veterinarian only after passing the examination.
10. Certificate reissuance
In previous years, if the certificate was obtained and applied for the replacement of the certificate due to the loss or damage of the certificate, the application shall be made in accordance with the announcement requirements of the original qualification granting province (autonomous region, municipality directly under the Central Government).
11. Other matters
(1) Those whose examination scores meet the qualification standards for practicing veterinarians shall not apply for the examination repeatedly.
(2) Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan residents participating in the National Veterinary Qualification Examination for relevant matters shall be implemented with reference to this announcement. Other qualified overseas personnel can participate in the national veterinary qualification examination in the Hainan Free Trade Port, and the relevant matters shall be implemented in accordance with the announcement of the examination in the Hainan examination area.
(3) In 2024, continue to carry out the pilot work of Class C veterinary qualification certificate in the Tibet Autonomous Region.
(4) Candidates can review and prepare for the exam according to the examination syllabus. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs does not hold pre-examination training courses, nor does it entrust any unit to carry out pre-examination training and counseling.
Q: I obtained my academic qualifications in the form of self-study exams, can I apply for the self-study undergraduate veterinary medicine?
A: Yes. There is no restriction on the form of study for those who apply for academic qualifications. Ordinary full-time, online education, adult education, correspondence, self-examination and other forms are available, as long as the academic qualifications obtained are recognized by the national education department, the academic information network can be queried, and the major also meets the application requirements.

Exemption conditions and requirements
1. Those who have taken the National College English Test (CET-4) and CET-6 with a total score greater than or equal to 425 points, and passed the National College English Major Level 4 (TEM-4) and CET-8 (TEM-8) test scores, provide a scanned copy of the transcript, and the user name and password used by the candidate to log in to the China Education Examination Network.
2. Those who have passed the National Public English Proficiency Test Level 3 (PETS3) or above or passed the written test should provide a scanned copy of the level certificate or transcript, and the user name and password used by the candidate to log in to the China Education Examination Network.
3. If the score of the English (College Upgrade) or English (II) (code 00015) of the Higher Education Self-study Examination is greater than or equal to 60 points, the scanned copy of the transcript stamped with fresh seal, the website address, user name and password used by the candidate to log in to the platform of the Provincial Education Examination Institute where the reference is located shall be provided.
4. If the IELTS test score is greater than or equal to 5 and the TOEFL test score is greater than or equal to 72, the scanned copy of the score report, the website used by the test taker to log in to the official platform of the test, username and password shall be provided.
5. Those who have obtained the national education series of undergraduate graduation certificates and obtained bachelor's degrees at the same time shall issue a higher education degree certification report.
6. Those who have obtained a master's degree or above in China shall issue a higher education degree certification report.
7. Those who have obtained a bachelor's degree or above from abroad recognized by the state shall present a certificate of foreign academic degree provided by the Service Center for Scholarly Study of the Ministry of Education.
