Yellow Warning Signal for Thunderstorms and High Winds
The Zhangye Meteorological Observatory issued a yellow warning signal for thunderstorms and gales at 12:09 on June 27, 2024: It is expected that from this afternoon to evening, Ganzhou, Gaotai, Linze, Shandan, Minle, and Sunan will be affected by thunderstorms and strong winds, with an average wind force of 5-6 and gusts of 7-8, accompanied by thundershowers, and short-term heavy precipitation in Shandan, Minle, and Sunan.
The county government requires that the township (town) government and the relevant departments directly under the county should timely release and transmit early warning information, and strengthen the prevention of the adverse effects of lightning, short-term heavy precipitation, and gusty windy weather on agriculture and animal husbandry, transportation, construction, outdoor activities, and the production and life of the masses.
