In order to enhance the public's awareness of preventing illegal fundraising, this morning, the Tongling Municipal People's Procuratorate and the Tongguan District People's Procuratorate jointly launched a publicity campaign to prevent illegal fundraising, and walked into Wanda Plaza to carry out legal popularization publicity.

At the event site, the procuratorial cadres and police explained to the people on the scene illegal fundraising, pension fraud, telecommunication network fraud and other related legal knowledge and cases by hanging publicity banners, distributing publicity materials, one-on-one questions and answers, etc., and introduced in detail the common means, preventive measures and reporting telephone numbers of illegal fundraising, reminding the masses to face advertisements not to be fooled, high-interest bait not to be tempted, savings deposits are not careless, acquaintances are not gullible, and illegal fundraising is not involved, so as to guide the masses, especially the elderly, to be vigilant and enhance their awareness of risk prevention. The participants have expressed that they have a new understanding of illegal fund-raising scams through this publicity activity, and resolutely "do not transfer, do not remit money, and do not be gullible".
In recent years, illegal fund-raising crimes have been repeatedly prohibited, not only disrupting the order of the market economy, but also seriously harming the legitimate interests of the masses. In the next step, the Tongguan District People's Procuratorate will further combine the ongoing special actions of "procuratorial protection of enterprises" and "procuratorial protection of people's livelihood", actively perform its duties in accordance with the law, and carry out in-depth special actions to combat illegal fundraising. While handling every case of illegal fundraising with high quality and efficiency, we will strengthen risk investigation, make every effort to recover stolen goods and recover losses, coordinate the prevention and resolution of financial risks, and actively carry out legal popularization and publicity.
