June 2024 is the 12th Awareness Month for the Prevention of Illegal Fundraising in the Mainland. On June 27, the Office of the Leading Group for Combating Illegal Financial Activities of Xuhui District, together with the District Commission of Commerce, the Political and Legal Committee of the District Party Committee, the District Court, the District Public Security Bureau and other units, held a publicity activity on preventing illegal fundraising with the theme of "Guarding the Money Bag and Protecting the Happy Home" at the "West Bank Fengchao AI PLAZA" Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Xuhui Binjiang Branch.
Through on-site lectures, display boards, distribution of promotional materials, and broadcasting of promotional videos, this activity will send the law "into the enterprise" and "into the building" to publicize the legal knowledge related to the prevention of illegal fundraising to enterprise representatives and former white-collar workers.
During the event, the Xuhui District Public Security Bureau, the District Court, and the Shanghai Pudong Development Bank gave a publicity lecture on combating illegal financial activities around the theme of "Guarding the Money Bag and Protecting the Happy Home".
The event focused on the prevention of illegal fundraising, financial fraud and other themes, advocating the general public to establish a correct investment concept, invest through formal and legal channels, and avoid property losses.
It is understood that Xuhui District will continue to carry out publicity activities to crack down on and prevent illegal fundraising through various forms, guide the public to consciously stay away from and resist illegal fundraising, protect the people's "money bags", and effectively enhance the people's sense of security, happiness and gain.
