On June 27, the inaugural meeting of the Anyuan County Consumer Rights Protection Committee was held. Comrade Tang Weilin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, attended and delivered a speech, and 78 representatives from all walks of life such as party and government organs, enterprises and institutions, social organizations, and news media attended the meeting.
The meeting deliberated and approved the "Charter of the Anyuan County Consumer Rights Protection Committee" (review draft), and elected the director, executive deputy director, deputy director, deputy director, standing committee, member and secretary-general and deputy secretary-general of the first consumer rights protection committee of the Anyuan County Consumer Rights Protection Committee.
Xie Youwei, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the County Market Supervision Bureau, on behalf of the Anyuan County Consumer Association, reported to the conference on the development of consumer rights protection work in our county in the past three years, and deployed the next stage of work.
Comrade Tang Weilin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress and director of the County Consumer Protection Committee, delivered a speech, fully affirming the achievements of the Consumer Association in recent years, while pointing out that the consumer rights protection work involves the most concerning, direct and realistic interests of the people, and is a livelihood project that benefits thousands of households. With the development of the new normal of the economy, the profound changes in consumption concepts, structures and methods have also put forward new requirements for the protection of consumer rights and interests. On the basis of consolidating the past achievements, the county consumer protection committee should take the initiative to adapt to the new normal, improve its political position, fully realize the importance of the establishment of the consumer protection committee, give full play to the functions and roles of the consumer protection committee in the new era, and carry out work with a strong sense of responsibility and mission; It is necessary to firmly establish the concept of consumer first, service development, social co-governance, and advancing with the times, constantly adapt to the new situation and new requirements, and further improve the ability and level of protection of consumers' legitimate rights and interests; It is necessary to solve the problems of consumers' urgency and distress with a new attitude, high morale and practical measures, strengthen the protection of consumer rights and interests in the new consumption field, strengthen team building and infrastructure construction, comprehensively improve the ability and level of consumer rights protection, and constantly create a new situation in the work of the county consumer protection committee, and make new contributions to creating a good consumption environment in the county.
