It is reported that a small number of Toyota Grand Highlanders have arrived at domestic ports, and interestingly, we have not seen any news about the import of this car in Toyota officially, which is completely different from Toyota's previous operations!

The picture is just taken by the mouth of the new generation of Toyota Grand Highlander (which will be literally translated as the Grand Highlander later)! Although it is built on the same platform as the Highlander, the style is completely different, taking the front of the car as an example, the big Highlander appears as a vertical element, and the three-dimensional sense has been completely extended. In the uppermost part, a stepped silver decorative belt is used, and the headlights on both sides adopt a horizontal design, which still has a split design on the outside, but in fact, the internal fit is very high. The two rib lines on the canopy also guarantee a sense of power. The lower half is a large grille, while the independent front bumper retains the style of a traditional Japanese car.

In terms of size, this big Highlander is a comprehensive surpass of the Highlander on sale, according to the information previously available, its length, width and height are 5116mmx1989mmx1781mm, and the wheelbase has come to 2946mm. Of course, the excellent size advantage also ensures its interior space, it is reported that the interior of this car will be used in two ways, namely 2+2+3 three-row large seven-seat layout, and 2+3+3 three-row large eight-seat layout, which can accommodate up to eight occupants, which is the biggest advantage of this car! The performance of the whole side, the performance of the new car is still relatively flat, far less layered than the current Highlander. Inside, the Grand Highlander is noticeably simpler, perhaps because of the space, so the interior looks a little empty. Looking at the configuration, taking the current port version as an example, the next domestic arrival of the big Highlander is the Hybrid Max version, which is the top model in the US market, and the new car will be equipped with a HUD head-up display, second-row seat heating/ventilation, streaming media rearview mirror, 360-degree panoramic image, L2 level assisted driving, JBL audio and other configurations. The specific detailed configuration is yet to be officially announced.

The powertrain has been hammered, and the version that arrives in Hong Kong is equipped with a hybrid system composed of a 2.4-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor, with a combined maximum power of 270 kilowatts and a peak torque of 542 Nm, because this car also provides a 2.4T fuel version and a 2.5-liter gasoline-electric hybrid system in overseas markets. Therefore, in the future, assuming domestic production, the power system may also change! Combined with the price of this car overseas, the starting price of the imported version may be around 350,000 yuan.
