On June 28, the "Announcement on the Prequalification of the Bidding for the Construction of the Total Price Contracting of the Electrification Transformation Project of the Yiyang to Loudi Section of the Yizhan Line" was released. According to the construction schedule, the project is scheduled to officially start in August and be completed by the end of 2026.
1. Project overview
The electrification reconstruction project of the Yiyang to Loudi section of the Yizhan Line has been approved by the China Railway Group with the approval of the feasibility study report of the Electrification Reconstruction Project of the Yiyang to Loudi section of the Yizhan Line (Tie Fa Gai Han (2023) No. 382). The owner of the project is China Railway Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd., which is organized and implemented by the Changsha Engineering Construction Headquarters of Guangzhou Bureau Group Co., Ltd.
Construction site: Yiyang City, Changsha City, Xiangtan City, Loudi City, Hunan Province.
Construction scale: Yiyang East Station of Yizhan Railway (not included) to Loudi East Station (not included), the main line is 100.506 single-line kilometers long, and the disease remediation and equipment reinforcement will be implemented accordingly according to the current electrification transformation; the Yiyang East Railway Station dredging line will be electrified according to the current situation, and the line length will be 3.72 single-line kilometers; the related projects of the Loudi East Station to Loudi Station dredging line will have a new line length of 13.148 single-line kilometers and the reconstructed line length will be 6.489 single-line kilometers.
Main technical standards: railway grade: national railway class I; Number of positive lines: single line; Design speed: 120km/h; Traction type: electric; Traction quality: 4000t (general over 5000t); Effective length to hairline: 850m; Locomotive type: passenger aircraft HXD3C, cargo aircraft HXD1C.

2. Scope of bidding
Electrification transformation of the eastern section from Yiyang East to Loudi (mileage range: Yizhan Line K0+887.83~K101+393.5); Electrification transformation of Yiyang East Railway Station Relief Line (mileage range: Yizhan Line K0+000~K3+714); Loudi East Station to Loudi Station dredging line related projects. All the contents of the construction drawings approved within the above scope.
3. Bid division
It is divided into 4 bids, as follows:
(1) YLDHSG-1 bid section: roadbed, bridge and culvert, tunnel remediation, track, housing engineering, water supply and drainage, station yard, public works, sound barrier and other operation and production equipment and buildings within the scope of the construction drawing design of the project.
(2) YLDHSG-2 bid section: all power and external power introduction projects, power traction power supply projects, power and electrification transition projects within the scope of the construction drawing design of this project.
(3) YLDHSG-3 bid section: all communications, signals, information engineering, maintenance, vehicle operation and production equipment and buildings, and signal transition projects within the scope of the construction drawing design of this project.
(4) YLDHSG-4 Bid Section: Relocation and transformation of the "three electricity" lines, water supply and drainage pipelines, and fuel and gas pipelines.
4. Planned construction period
The total construction period of the project is 863 calendar days, with a planned completion date of August 20, 2024 and a completion date of December 30, 2026.
