Leaders of the construction, supervision, design and consulting units of the National Railway Administration of Thailand, China Railway International Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Design Group Co., Ltd., Chotichinda, MHPM, WSP, Epsilon and other construction, supervision, design and consulting units attended the first pile drilling ceremony, and more than 110 people participated in the event.
The China-Thailand Railway is Thailand's first standard-gauge high-speed railway, stretching from the capital Bangkok in the south to Nong Khai Province in the north. The civil engineering of the Sino-Thai railway is C3-1, with a line length of 30.21 kilometers, including 20.03 kilometers of bridges and 10.18 kilometers of roadbed, and a total of 12 times across the existing Northeast Thailand Trunk Railway. The project has a total of 4 milestone nodes, involving the national railway of Thailand's red line electricity, forest land, private land, existing factory relocation and reconstruction, etc., with the difficulty of land acquisition and demolition, high safety risk of business line construction, large number of special hole spans of bridges, high karst section line dissolution rate, earthwork allocation is greatly affected by land delivery, involving many professional interfaces and other significant characteristics.
Since entering the site, China Railway Tenth Bureau has attached great importance to the construction of the Sino-Thai railway project, and the leaders of the group company have led the team to conduct preliminary research and project planning for many times; The Asia-Pacific branch and the project department effectively play the role of the main body of construction, take the initiative to attack, face difficulties, carry out the preliminary work of the project in an orderly manner, actively communicate and coordinate with the Thai owners and local governments, and orderly promote the construction of key facilities such as stations, laboratories and beam yards, so as to lay a solid foundation for the full start of the main body of the project.
In order to ensure the smooth drilling of the first pile, the project department actively coordinated and cooperated with all relevant units, and successively completed the work of greening relocation, operation surface leveling and traffic relief. At the same time, the project management team carefully prepared the construction plan and technical measures, carried out site layout planning in strict accordance with the design requirements, carried out education and training on quality control, mechanical safety operation, safe electricity use and other aspects for on-site personnel, and made various preparations for the first pile drilling.
In the next step, the Asia-Pacific Branch will fully carry forward the spirit of "pioneering", make use of the existing working surface, carefully organize and multi-point flowering, seize the golden period of construction, promote the construction progress of the follow-up project with high station, high standard and high quality, and strive to fully complete the construction task of the Sino-Thai railway.
After the completion of the China-Thailand Railway, it will be connected with the China-Laos Railway that is already in operation, and will go directly to Kunming, China, forming the main artery of the China-Laos-Thailand Railway that runs through the north and south and connects Europe and Asia. With a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour and the use of Chinese standards and technology, the project is another major livelihood project jointly built by Chinese and Thai enterprises, and is also a flagship project of high-quality "Belt and Road" cooperation between China and Thailand.
