On June 30, Wimbledon officially announced the lineup of players participating in this year's senior tournament. Former Chinese goldenrod Zheng Jie is on the list, and this will be her first Grand Slam senior tournament, and she will be joined by former Wimbledon women's doubles champion Vinci.
Zheng Jie still holds the best Wimbledon record for a Chinese player, having become the first wildcard to reach the semi-finals in 2008 as a wildcard. In the doubles field, Zheng Jie partnered with Yan Zi in 2006 and won the Wimbledon women's doubles championship, becoming the first Chinese pair to win the Wimbledon doubles championship.
In addition to the Wimbledon doubles champions of Zheng Jie and Vinci, former world No. 1 Barty, who retired early, will also appear at the All England Club. In addition, former players such as Hingis, Clijsters, Stosur, Clijsters, Hantuceva, A-Radwanska, and Schiavone will also appear in the Wimbledon veterans.
According to the schedule, this year's Wimbledon Seniors will start on July 9 and last until July 14. The draw will take place on 7 July, with the exact schedule of each day being determined the day before the tournament.
