Between Jiangpu and Jiangxi Ercun in Mayu Town, Ruian City, there is a school founded in the 30th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1904) - Ruian Yangzheng School. Its predecessor was one of the earliest new-style schools in Rui'an, Yangzheng Academy, and its founder was Yu Tingkai's father and son.
As an official, Yu Tingkai was full of the ideal of "education to save the country", cared about the construction of the school, and enlightened and trained many people in jishi. Yao Chun, Wu Shuji, Huang Zhenya, Huang Mai'ou, and Jin Jinlu are all from yangzheng school.
Even in the nearly ten years since he left his hometown as an official, he still paid great attention to the Yangzheng Academy. On December 28, 1916, he returned to his hometown to visit his relatives, remembered the scene of the teaching at the beginning of the Yangzheng Academy, and enthusiastically wrote a joint for the White Lotus Hall (the site of the early Yangzheng Academy):
"Flowing water and half a bay, the ruler of the soil into a paradise country; to the door to smile, ten years ago was a reading township."

Yu Tingkai was intelligent from an early age, and under the influence of his mentor Sun Yao Rang and Huang Shaoji's idea of educating and saving the country, he came up with the idea of building a school and educating people. In 1903, the Qing court promulgated the statutes of the academy, which became the main basis for the new school education system in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Ming Dynasty. Therefore, the father took the lead in donating funds and mobilizing the squires to donate, and Yu Tingkai's father and son joined forces to establish the Yangzheng School in Jiangshang Village, Laihui Township, which means "raising the righteousness of heaven and earth". This year, Yu Tingkai was 24 years old.

In the first month of 1904, Yangzheng School opened with three classes and 50 students. The academy hired Zheng Chen as the principal, 5 teachers, and Yu Tingkai personally taught as a teacher. After that, the school was gradually expanded, two teaching buildings were built in Puxi Village, and an auditorium and playground were built, and Sun Yirang specially inscribed a plaque - Yangzheng School.

After three years of coaching, Yu Tingkai never received excessive remuneration. In the thirty-second year of Guangxu (1906), with the encouragement of his mentor Sun Yaorang, Yu Tingkai went to Japan to study. Shortly after his return to China, the Xinhai Revolution broke out, after which he entered the National Assembly for a long time and did not return to yangzheng school to teach.

Sangzi's feelings are unforgettable, and every time he has the opportunity, Yu Tingkai has to ask about the school situation. Concerned about the quality of running the school, "until the second half of the year of the school must continue to handle, but if there are bad teachers, they may wish to hire another one." This matter should be discussed with YangSu, and there is no need to wait for children. ”

He has invited famous teachers to teach and cultivated countless talents in the past hundred years
It is yu Tingkai's intentions that Yangzheng School extends the invitation of famous teachers and attaches great importance to the strength of teachers.
Li Kasa, a scholar of the first generation, served as a teacher at Yangzheng School in 1917. Li Kasa, a native of Ruian, later taught at central universities, Nankai University, Xiamen University and many other famous universities. In the "Anthology of Li Kasa's Poems", there are also seven laws of poetry in his palm of the main school of education, ShiYun: "The small window is lonely and leaning on the autumn sound, and the wind and rain are sick and clear." Quietly listening to Fang Zhiyun is bitter, sentimental and gradually feels that the guest is light. The lights of the cold felt years are faint, and the dreams of breaking a few careers are also shocking. The lonely village is like a fat retreat, and the township guan looks back as if it is love. ”

If the teacher is excellent, then the student is excellent. In the past hundred years, Yangzheng School has cultivated many talents who save the country, love the country and build the country. Among them, Yao Chun, the elder of the Republic of China, was a lieutenant general when he retired in 1952, and once served as the president of the Wenzhou Hometown Association in Taipei, and wrote "Obscure Bamboo Shoots and Poetry Notes". Yu Tingkai was Yao Chun's teacher, and Yao Chun recalled: "Mr. Yu congyou traveled for more than twenty years. Although the clutch is commonplace, the mind is in contact. Occasionally, the sick are very dangerous, and the gentleman will arrive every day, and the condolences will be added. The love between teachers and students is better than this? Boast of it to people, and people also call it beautiful. ”
Huang Xiong, an anti-Japanese general, was a member of the Preparatory Committee of the Wenzhou Municipal Committee of the Kuomintang revolutionary committee and a member of the first, second and third terms of ruian county of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Huang Zhenya, an expert in bacteriology in China, led a medical team to participate in the rescue of the masses affected by germ warfare in the rural areas of Jiangsu and Zhejiang during the War of Resistance Against Japan, and in 1947, he participated in the fourth revision meeting of the "Geneva Convention" held internationally, and wrote "Pathology" and so on.
During the Republic of China period, Lieutenant General Yang Yifei was also trained from the Yangzheng School and once served as the principal of the Yangzheng School.

It was renamed and expanded several times, and the original school name was restored a hundred years later
Yangzheng School was founded in 1904, and by the fourteenth year of the Republic of China (1925), it had increased to five classes with about 200 students. The following year, the school was extremely difficult to fund, and it faced a situation of suspension for a time. In the 20th year of the Republic of China (1931), the school was renamed Ruian County South District No. 3 Primary School. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it was renamed as the Central Primary School of Xianxia District, Ruian County, with 280 students. From public to private, the school has set more than 130 acres of school fields.
From the second half of 1949, the government took over the school and renamed it Jiangpu Township Primary School, which was aimed at the children of workers and peasants, and the number of students doubled, with six levels and more than 350 students. In 1970, it was renamed Gangpo Commune Central Elementary School and added an attached junior high school class. In 1984, it was renamed Jiangpu Township Central Primary School. In 2001, it was changed to The Third Primary School of Mayu Town. In 2007, the Shui On Education Bureau issued a document to restore the original school name "Ruian Yangzheng School".
In April 2007, Guangrui Group Co., Ltd. donated 210,000 yuan to Yangzheng School, of which 110,000 yuan was used for school hardware construction, and 100,000 yuan was set up as "Guangrui Yangzheng Education Fund". The new expanded school building towers over the south bank of the Feiyun River, next to Provincial Highway 56.
