Prince Harry's primary concern was his wife, Meghan Markle, even when they weren't together.

On Wednesday, the new father joined his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, in two events at Buckingham Palace: meeting the International Cricket Federation Cricket World Cup captain before heading outside for a garden party.

Although Meghan stayed at home with baby Archie, Prince Harry took the time to speak with representatives of her four royal patrons, Mayshoe, the National Theatre, Smart Works and the Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Smart Works is an organization that helps disadvantaged and long-term unemployed women regain their job skills and confidence. The group thanked Megan for inviting them to a garden party and shared photos of them out on Instagram.

"On behalf of all the people at Smart Works, I am very grateful to the Duchess of Sussex for inviting us to the garden party at Buckingham Palace @sussexroyal," they wrote. "We are excited to invite our three most senior volunteers, Beth, Leanda and Laura (who have served our customers for over three decades in between) and the incredible, dedicated regional chair to join our Chairman and CEO for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the wonderful community we all share."

Prince Harry also met with a representative of the African Parks Network, who is its president, a mental health consultant at invictus games, and others, all of whom received invitations from Prince Harry to work in work related to their own vital interests.

"The Queen hosts garden parties in recognition of the contributions guests make in the community, a time-honored tradition dating back to the reign of Queen Victoria in the 1860s.

Prince Harry, 34, wore a suit at the event and looked energetic. He also wore a top hat that he carried with him most of the time, as well as an umbrella, which was prepared for bad weather.

Every year, the 93-year-old queen hosts three garden parties at Buckingham Palace and one at Holyrood House in Scotland. But at the season's first party on 15 May, the Queen invited her son, Prince Charles, to host, along with wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall and sister Princess Anne.

On 21 May 2019, the Queen attended the garden fair for the first time, which was also attended by Kate Middleton and Prince William.
